Lovely location overlooking the lighthouse after which the restaurant is named. Staff were very attentive and the food good. Good selection of vegetarian options. Maybe prices a little higher than nearby restaurants. The outside patio is spacious and stylish , I wouldn't choose to sit...inside which had 2 large TV screens showing football matches. Very different rating experience inside or out.More

Why did we wait so long to try this place. We had such a lovely evening here that we came back a second time. The best views and comfy sofas to enjoy drinks before and after dinner. Food was delicious and nice size portions. Staff...are delightful. Service is at your speed and in no way rushed. The best margaritas in town. Highly recommended and we are looking forward to returning on our next visit.More

I could not fault the Lighthouse whatsoever. We were a group of 24 with a mixture of adults and varying ages of children. We had pre-booked due to the size of the group and the customer service prior to arriving was wonderful and then when...we got there it was even better! The size of the group was no issue at all, they looked after us all so well and were very considerate towards the children especially. The staff was very accommodating and the views from the terrace was fabulous. Of course the food as well was amazing with a good selection of dishes to suit all sorts of dietary requirements. I would not hesitate to go back there and in fact some of us did go back a few days later and the staff remembered us by name and the service and food were just as excellent the second time round. I definitely recommend the Lighthouse!!More

A wonderful restaurant! The staff were extremely friendly and lovely with our kids. The food was delicious. Big portions! We had the risotto and the paella both were yummy! Gorgeous views of the sea in the distance. Was a bit chilly so the outside was...shut but imagine this is gorgeous in the summer to sit around the pool with the views!More

I had the vegetable soup which was creamy and a touch spicy - so good! The lamb shank was perfect! Fell off the bone and the sauce was delectable! My friend had the paella which was incredible! But the food wasn’t even the best part...even though it was fabulous! The staff were so warm and kind and simply made the dinner even more special! Shout out to my new friends Catarina, Isabella and Joao!! Thank you all! I look forward to having many more meals there!! ❤️More

Paul and I had a wonderful evening meal at this establishment. Eliza the chef prepared a beautiful salmon, honey and whiskey entree and fish stew that was rich with treasures from the sea, perfectly prepared. Catriona and Fabio provided excellent service and the view of...the ocean captured a glorious sunset. We highly recommend this venue for a reservation.More

Well, what a night! From the welcome to the goodbye, we had the most amazing night. The food was outstanding, portion size was exceptional (you could cut it by half easily). There were 5 of us, starters were fish cakes, sliders, pate, soup and prawns....Comments included, if I’d known the size of the portion I’d have had it as a main! One of my pet peeves, you order pate and there’s never enough toast, not a problem here. Mains, Paella - wow! Could have fed 2! 3 x fillet steak - outstanding! Salmon - huge and delicious. Such a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere and no better place to watch the sunset. Been coming here for 10 years now and this definitely won’t be the last visit.More

Our favourite restaurant in this area providing excellent food and great service. The restaurant is lovely but lacking in atmosphere because it is late in the season with few fellow diners. Now closed for the winter until March.

My husband and I enjoyed an impromptu lunch here. A lovely setting with views right out to the sea. Lots of space to sit outside, either under the shade or in the sun. Lots of comfy sofas. We had a Caesar salad and a wrap,...both were delicious. Really recommend a visit here. We looked at the evening menu and plan to go back for dinner some time.More

Staying at Rocha Brava so this restaurante is just round the corner really. We came here first night of holiday. Had cod Portuguese style and partner had fillet steak, both dishes were lovely, perfectly cooked fish and my partner said his steak was lovely and...tender. Good wine too. Then rain and storm arrived, so we went inside and had a cocktail which was also very good as was the service.More
