In terms of food this place is alright. Only real issue is being made to feel for entire duration of meal that they were doing us an enormous favour by allowing us to eat there. We waited with expectant little faces at the door, whereby first one waiter walked past and looked at us like we were doing something abnormal.... More

We have visited Tres Palmeiras fairly regularly over the last 20 years and the staff are still the same this speaks volumes in itself! The extensive menu is excellent prices are reasonable. However we did try the Special one evening - Sirloin steak and chips - this is one meal to avoid. We asked for the steak to be medium to... The place is a bit of a throw back to Mediterranean restaurants of 15 years ago. Dark wood and photos of god-knows-who on the wall. No real bad thing but the food is in a time warp too. Overly sauced and seasoned meat and fish dishes served by slightly weary middle aged men. It does feel authentic but that doesn't... More

We went here twice on our holiday and both times the food was amazing. The atmosphere is very nice with a good buzz. When we arrived, at around 8pm, a lot of the tables were full but we were seated quickly. We ordered drinks and the prices were ok, similar to other places to be honest. The main courses were... We have been coming to this family run restaurant for 25 years and it remains our favourite. The staff are very professional, polite and friendly to everyone. The service is quick. Fish is fresh and perfectly cooked. I like the pork with prawns (sounds weird but it works!), at least one of the family will have fish and chips, which... More

Visited this place a few times over the years. Quite often as part of a group of friends. Most recently it was just me and my wife. I had the rabbit stew which is a very tasty dish, served in a metal tureen with plenty of accompanying vegetables. My wife chose grilled golden bream. All the fish is as fresh... More

My family have been going here since before I was born... The food and service are always amazing and we have never had a bad meal (and we've had a lot of them). Their house dessert is absolutely delicious and I absolutely love the home made veggie soup!! I would recommend booking in the summer months because, as expected, they... More

Amazing food and amazing restaurant. Probably the best restaurant in the area. Highly recommend the deep fried prawn as the starter.

We popped into look at this restaurant during the day time before the restaurant was open, the Manager was very friendly and showed us the menu and the fresh fish. The kebabs looked great and the fish was gleaming and fresh. We decided to go in the evening and we had a great time the we had the house wine... More
