Great restaurant. Although we had no reservation and the place was packed, they made room for us, making us feel welcome. Excellent regional food, Alentejo wines, exceptional service.

Our gracious host expertly explained all of his various offerings. Great fish, pork, and incredible ribs. Deserts had fantastic flavor.

Been here several times. On a very narrow street, not far from the main square. Best authentic Portuguese food, great portions, good prices and friendly staff! Make sure to pay a visit here if visiting Evora. Please note they don't accept cards, bring cash. Black pork is amazing and also the codfish and the migas side made of bread.

Attentive english speaking owner. Excelent typical portuguese food. The owner explained that it takes a while to be served because it is cooked upon request. But that is probably why it is so tasty! Great quality versus fair price.

We happened upon this restaurant as we were walking from our hotel. The food was excellent as was the service. The salmon dish was exceptional.

Recommended by our hotel, we were able to obtain a table without a reservation. The english speaking waiter was most helpful in explaining the local dishes and helping us make our selections. We enjoyed the starters which simply appeared and were added to our bill but the total cost was reasonable. Overall it was a modt enjoyable experince.

We found this place on a trip organised by Portugal Trails and this was one of many suggested restaurants. Its a little hard to find but very close to the main square and a worth the trouble to find. Very cosy, 6 table place in an ancient house where the people are very welcoming and anxious to show you their... More

This was our first dinner in Portugal and lest us with a good impression of this cuisine. When you arrive you find the table already laden with small plates of food which you can choose to eat or disregard. If you eat them they will be added to your bill, including the bread. But we chose to eat them as... More

We were told about this restaurant by hotel staff at Moov. The place serves good traditional food. We had some nice regional sheep’s cheese as a starter. For main with tried Nuno Neves codfish and black pork with olive oil bread. Both mains were pretty good. Portions are big, especially after cheese and bread for starters. Service was good, worth... I read all the reviews. I just really didn't like the food. I had the pork and it was brined to the point of tasting like dried up reconstituted pork jerky. The service was fine and the wine selection was good. The food was just plain disappointing.
