We were visiting Estremoz and the new tile museum. We stopped for lunch here and it was delicious!! We enjoyed yummy lamb chops and others had seafood which we all raved about. Unpretentious ambiance yet charming and tasteful, divine appetizers, meals and desserts ( to share). You wont see the items on the menu anywhere else . A great marriage of presentation , flavors, ingredients and textures.

The food is still good. But the prices are now too high. Some will still accept it but for a much lower price, you can have better experiences around Estremoz. Sorry guys, last visit.

This shop and restaurant is a little gem. The food is delicious unusual and served in big portions most suitable for sharing. The service was excellent and they have lovely staff. This is the best place we’ve eaten in 3 visits to Estremoz.

Such a great restaurant. We booked this as in the Michelin guide and this is generally an indicator of a good restaurant. We were amazed at the quality - an absolutely brilliant meal all round. Pigs cheeks, lamb croquettes, octopus and the most indulgent chocolate...dessert ever. Quite easily the best meal eaten in several years. We will return to Estremoz to eat at this restaurant.More

One of the top establishments in Estremoz and deservedly busy, consistently interesting food, nice decor and good service. I send a lot of clients here as I am guaranteed great feedback. Always busy it pays to make a reservation.

Very good food. Unfortunately we were seated outside in 40 degrees celcius so we couldn’t eat much. We would have liked to have had more than just one dish but at the time we were already melted away. Make sure to book a table inside...in AC to enjoy this place in July. The food was delicious. The duck was superb with a great sauce. The lamb with pumpkins and pesto was just as great. Estremoz have several great restaurants. We stayed here 4 nights. It is quite a hidden gem with almost no other tourists in july (2022). Still lots of gourmet restaurants filled with people every evening. So be sure to reserve a table every night.More

This is one of the best restaurants in the Alentejo. It’s a deli, wine store, and excellent restaurant. Plays on Portuguese style dishes, beautifully presented in very large helpings. Deserts are excellent. Being in Estremoz, wine list is exceptional. You often see local wine producers...eating here. A must to book ahead. Absolutely worth a detour.More

This is just amazing, it is now one of my favorite restaurants in Portugal, fantastic!!! I will be back, I will drive 300lm for lunch!!!

The manager of the restaurant needs a personality re-set. Glum, off-hand and without a notion of a welcome. Bad start. The waiter had no idea how to serve wine. - sploshing in a dash of wine to both my wife’s glass and mine to see...“if we liked it.” Wow, I thought. Continuing the bad start. The food was nicely presented and the tuna starter delicious. The lamb chops were not hot - and they should be - whilst the fries were equally luke-warm. We felt that was poor, especially as the lamb quality was high. Just poorly cooked and served. We just felt they were too engrossed in their rising reputation, too immersed in the “applause” to remember its customers that are actually needed and more importantly, should be looked after professionally. It was a pity - it’s expensive, but we didn’t mind that. We minded paying for great food and wine served poorly and incorrectly. Would t go back. So many other more relaxed restaurants in estremoz - of similar or equal quality. Avoid.More
