Had a wonderful lunch there for the first time with four ladies who have decided to meet for lunch once per month. I had never heard of this place when someone suggested it! WOW...what a pleasant surprise. The food was amazing, presentation and taste fantastic. From homemade Cream of Cabbage Soup, which was to die for, to homemade Quiche, to... More

I have taken friends there many times, especially when having guests from out of town. The food is all made on the premise, including desserts. Very nicely decorated, peaceful, warm and friendly. Delicious food and awesome service. You can have a table by the fireplace or window at the street. Visit a large antique store without going back outside. Your... More

I recently visited the O'Connor House tea room with a couple of friends to celebrate a birthday, and I will definitely be going back in the near future. The food was wonderful, dessert to die for and a really cute, traditional tea room setting with good China used in creative ways. The staff was friendly and it was just a... More

If you are looking for afternoon High Tea, this is the place. Off of the beaten track, take Highway 2 west of Kingston, to Deseronto. Who would have thought! The English scones were warm and oh so light, served with Devonshire Cream, strawberry preserves, REAL whipped cream with strawberries and blueberries and a carnation! My husband ordered the "Devonshire Cream... More

My husband and I enjoyed a delicious lunch at this very quaint tea house. My quiche was filling and flavourful as was my husband's salad entre. We both had the sweet potato soup that was to die for. The highlight of the meal was the incredible key lime pie and the coconut cream pie. They were both very generous portions... More

Off Hwy. 2 in Desoronto, you will discover this charming Victorian style tea room which reminds us of a time when people took their afternoon tea seriously. Done up in lovely soft colours, with delightful antique furniture, and a marvellous collection of vintage china to pique your interest, this little restaurant does not disappoint when it comes to service, presentation,... This is absolutely a hidden little gem. It transports you back to the old English era. The food was incredible. So fresh and beautifully presented. Do not miss this for a lovely afternoon tea experience.
