Very good for. Note that they specialize in cuts of beef, so not the best choice of you are a vegetarian. Come with at least one person bcz most of the meat cuts are too large for one person. Very pretty setting in the hills

Amazing food, great wines and the staff were super nice! Another great thing is that you get to see the pieces of meat! 5 stelle!
I am a lover of meat. I've been on two occasions, with family and friends. Certainly the grilled meat is the highlight where the restaurant offers a wide choice (Fassona, Chianina, Danish bio, Astrian, Black Angus, Pata Negra to name a few) but also the...first places like ravioli, and garganelli with venison ragout they do not disappoint. I found very interesting the wine list that contains quality labels, some little known but very interesting. Account adequate to the product, not cheap for sure. If you are looking for a good steak and chips look elsewhere. Location beautiful and off the beaten path, I will return in the summer to enjoy an outdoor dinner.More
Two families, that is four adults and two children, visited the restaurant Fior di Loto for an evening. It's a bit in the boondacks, lost in the wilderness, but worth the trip. The setting is near a lake with lotus flowers (hence the name), in...the middle of nowhere. Great terrace, with spacious tables, white table cloth and chair covers. Their specialty is red meat - something I'm not accustomed to find (and even seldom enjoy) in Italy. You select a dry-aged piece of meat directly from a butchers showcase, and they take care of it on the open fire. The meat was delicious, with one caveat: since you chose an entire piece for the whole group (we took 2 Kg for the four adults), you end up having a lot of fat to cut off. Much more than if you order individual filets or entrecotes. But this is worth the effort. For some of us, the meat was not cooked enough. They put a burning hot stone on our table, and those could finish the cooking to their tasting. Elegant idea. It is served with rosemary potatoes - also something to enjoy rarely in Italy (a change to the pasta and risotto). I would recommend this address for those not minding paying a bit more than usual, but enjoying a good piece of red meat.More
I am italian, i live on the Garda lake, and i can say: yes, this is the place. If you are looking for the best meat in Italia (far more from tuscany) you have found the Holy Graal. I will repeat: this is the place....👍🏻More
We went to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday, everything was great! The food, the wine, unfortunately we couldn't have dessert because we were full (next time ;) Also the location is beautiful ! The only issue what I would mention is for me was a bit...difficult to communicate as my italian isn't very well. Our waiter/ss didn't speak english or german at all. My boyfriend speaks italian so it wasn't a big problem at the end but I think it is crucial to know at least one language as they have a lots of foreign customers.More
Great food. Was given the meat dish as a recommendation by Nonna Mari. Very very good. Very little English spoken but did not hinder the service or their warm welcome. Children made welcome too.
-------- The location is really nice, it's a pity that they sell meat at incredible prices for children, instead of having a normal children menu! It was 10 of us (4 kids) and we paid the meat for the 4 kids 120 euro! The meat was not even tender, absurd! In the lake area there are plenty of agriturismo with nice food and reasonable prices! No need to spend such a fortune! Portions were not big either. What a pity, it was quite a famous restaurant in the past. They did not e en offer us a free limoncello after dinner.More
- Hand made pasta - Amazing meat selection, aside from beef I also recommend the roasted patanegra piglet - Leave room for dessert
Entering the place gives a bit of a strict atmosphere but when you pass by the meat desk you understand what this place is about -great meat. And it is! I can highly recommend the local cuts. Staff is friendly and professional. So when you...are looking for some really good pieces of meat -please try this place.More
We went there following a recommendation of the concierge of our hotel. They feature an impressive rich offer of meat of local and international origin. It is really hard to make your choice. The cooking is very good and gives an excellent taste of the...dish. However, in an atmosphere like in a mid-sixties station eatery, the service is very impersonal and not obliging. In my opinion both the quality of the food and the standard of the service contribute to the justification of the pricing. We were entirely missing the latter for a relatively expensive evening.More
I have gone to this restaurant many times. The house staff is extremely professional and kind bravi Roberta and family. Chef Amedeo has a superior knowledge about meat, the best "meat" counter I have found in Northern Italy. Superlative choices of the best cuts from...all around the world. The rest of the food is great as well, specially the ravioli and super desserts. I go there several times a year and I always leave profoundly satisfied.More
Fantastic choice of top-meats from all over the world. Grilled to perfection by the chef and serviced by very friendly waiter. We paid € 120 for 2 persons: 1,2 kg of very good Piemonte beef(incl Bone), deep fried vegetables (excellent), 2 salads, a fantastic bottle...of red wine (Zephiro from Comincioli, € 20) and 2 coffee. So not the cheapest, but certainly the best in the area.More
