Long wait for a menu. Then the waiter asks us to move to another table. Or more precisely to the lounge. For food? Never again. Plenty of better places around.

Very nice atmosphere, but incredible rude service. Went here on a sunday afternoon. Large menu, got a very nice table. My boyfriend wanted to have mussels, I wanted to order a large salad (which was on the menu as a full portion - not as a side dish!). The waitress (elder lady) told me, I cannot only order a salad,... More

Visited Rubens on a wet October evening in a party of 12 golfers. Great food with attentive, friendly service and a busy, buzzy atmosphere. Not cheap at 70 euros a head, but we did havee 9 bottles of (house) wine! Highly recommended.

My friend took me here for my birthday whilst we were on holiday in Knokke. She booked online from England which I would recommend as the restaurant is always well patronised and it's not always a pleasant experience when one has to wait in line outside for half an hour or so to get a table. We started with soup... More

The price of the sole did not appear on the menu (nor the cabillaud) because it depends of the availability. I was offered three little soles instead of one big piece at a reasonable price. It was delicious, so were the French fries (frites). Fresh salmon and potatoes from the oven were served to my companion. Definitely an excellent place... More

A true brasserie, with traditional high quality foods. Great selection of fish, seafood, meats......Portions very generous ! Visited 3 times in 2 weeks. The Sole fish was fab, as very the kidneys...and the shrimp cocktail. Extensive wine list

Difficult to find table and can experience long waiting time even in September. Otherwise nice place on the promenade with good food. One can opt for Royal 50 meters on the other side of the square.

Never disappointed by this restaurant. The food and the drinks are quite expensive but they place is beautiful and the food is always good. The food is of high quality, so the price is okay in the end. It's always a good place to go when you want to eat well. A special shoutout to the Shrimps croquettes and the... More
