Not very good, vegetables wasn’t cooked all the way.. all food was very bland… will NEVER return. Staff wasn’t very personable and had to ask for a replacement drink due to be super flat, when it’s cola.. cook was almost bored to death…

We were looking for some basic Asian food and stumbled upon this place for delivery. We ordered the classic chicken fried rice, beef fried rice a curry and noodles. The rice and the noodles were completely overcooked, all the other vegetables were frozen not fresh....Everything tasted blant and definitely not Asian at all. If you're looking for Asian food stay away from this place. If you're looking for a quick bite stay away also. This place is over priced beyond belief the food is not cooked just thrown into a plate from frozen and ready made low quality ingredients and drenched in vegetable oil.More
Food was tasty and service was great. I was looking for a good restaurant specialised in asian cuisine and this restaurant is just that.
Food tastes good, a bit salty, lots of soyasauce on almost everything. But a bit too expensive, 100 euros for a menu with starter, main and dessert, half a liter of wine and 2 aperitifs. Also the interior needs freshening up. The teppanyaki section was...closed, strange on a Fridayevening.More
We picked this restaurant randomly. The menues are expensive and not worth the money spent. Not happy with the service though, compared to the average asian restaurant in Western Europe.
We popped in without a reservation and the staff were very accommodating. We sat at the tepenyaki table along with other groups. The menu was good and had English translation. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and efficient. This place is well...worth a visit.More
The sushi we ordered was very nice: original tastes and ingredients, nice with side dish Japanese salad and Edamame beans. The staff is very kind and there for you if you have questions.
This is great fun japanese restaurant serving cooked food to sushi, and providing kimonos for those who wish to dress up and cook in front of you service if you so wish. Cannot wait to go again - food does take awhile but worth the...wait.More
Looking for a great evening with friends? This is the place to be. Just put on a kimono and enjoy the show. Very friendly staff, experienced chef. You will have a blast. Several menus to choose from (ranging 25-65); you won't leave the table hungry.
Sensai has unfortunately only one suitable menu on the card. This menu is not bad at all, it’s a good balanced menu with some very nice dishes. Pity there is only one type of veggie sushi, I know there are other veggie sushi around. Soup...and main course was nice and well balanced. The service isn’t always the same, sometimes it’s ver fast you finished on dish and the next is served immediately and other time the service extremely slow. I would love to see more vegetarian and vegan dishes on their card.More
Each time I come to Ostend I think of Sensai. Today i tried my luck there but they were closed for a few days for vacation I think. When i was here in march, having walked the beach hungry and in the cold, I chanced...upon sensai, only to be there earlier before they were opened. The lady invited me in, served me hot tea and was extremely friendly and nice. I was craving for something warm and soupy from the cold but there wasn't something like that on the menu. I shared my crave with the lady and immediately, she said she would cook me some noodle soup out of the menu. That for me have never left my mind especially each time I think of Ostend. Thank you if you are reading this.More
Service was extremely slow and seemed totally uninterested. Food was quite average. Don't think we'll be back here.
When I was in Ostend, I have my lunch over there. You can find the lunch with affordable price and tasty. It is quite close the beach. You don't have to walk farther. The service is also good.
Service was very friendly. As we had mentioned it when we made the reservation, they made sure we received a fast service and made it to our show in Kursaal in time. Friendly and fast service, good food, nicely presented. We chose the Yasai menu...(veggie) which was very nice and more than enough. We even asked for a doggie bag which was no problem at all. I have no clue to why they received so many bad reviews. I'll be sure to go back when I'm in Oostende! Preferably with a little more time to enjoy it even more!More
terrible experience . the worst japanese restaurant in my life. The food in this restaurant is not worth a cent .
