Social deal for 5 course menu. The reservation was made for 6:00 PM but the business was still closed. . Everything was still dark. The first lights went on at 6:10 PM. Drinks, soup and dessert (ice cream) were fine. The starter (curly lettuce leaf with seaweed strings) was tough and sharp in taste. The main course (lamb with steamed vegetables) had a strange smell. The dish contained pieces of meat that did not taste fresh at all, rather had a disgusting bad taste and smell…. Service was very amateurish. When the waiter took away the empty glasses, he also took a half-full glass of the aperitif with him, even if we did not draw his attention to this. Received a friendly welcome. The orders were taken quickly by us. The starter was good which was fried meat patties. But then the main course came, I requested fried rice with chicken. The rice was served first and was plain boiled rice and not fried. For the main course I got my friend's food and he got my food, the waiter didn't ask who ordered what. My dish was extremely salty, which overpowered all the flavors. Our empty glasses had been on the table for 10 minutes, we almost called someone to ask if we could have some more drinks, but they arrived just in time. Not recommended, I wouldn't go back again.

Ume menu: Miso soup was tasty but far too salty, frog leg in very sweet sauce, salad with snail in it, tenderloin back in very sweet sauce, rosé and red house wine of inferior quality. toilets tired and not tidy. On the stairs to the toilet there was carpet with finger-thick dust and dirt. I wonder how hygienic the kitchen is? This is definitely not recommended

We were looking for some basic Asian food and stumbled upon this place for delivery. We ordered the classic chicken fried rice, beef fried rice a curry and noodles. The rice and the noodles were completely overcooked, all the other vegetables were frozen not fresh. Everything tasted blant and definitely not Asian at all. If you're looking for Asian food stay away from this place. If you're looking for a quick bite stay away also. This place is over priced beyond belief the food is not cooked just thrown into a plate from frozen and ready made low quality ingredients and drenched in vegetable oil.

A nice meal for no money

It was so good, that we went back the day after. We took twice the "dish of the day": a large choice with coffee or dessert and all this for only 12.5 Euro. I had twice the sushimi: fresh fish with a bowl of rice. Next time in Oostende, I'll be back

Not very good, vegetables wasn’t cooked all the way.. all food was very bland… will NEVER return. Staff wasn’t very personable and had to ask for a replacement drink due to be super flat, when it’s cola.. cook was almost bored to death…

The room staff is friendly, but that's all the positives say. We ordered a mix of sushi, but got 10 of the same pieces of sushi, which were not as tasty as they should be, the main course, mix of fish and seafood with noodles was not tasty. The noodles were flat, tasteless and cold and the fish was overcooked and the soybean sprouts with peppers also without flavour. We sent the house wine back, it really had no taste. I think the worst thing is that when they came to clear the table, we also said that it was not tasty, but we were not asked why or the cook did not come by, while we would have liked to have given a word of explanation... had to pay 100 euros, which it wasn't worth it at all.

It's a complete rip off and nothing Japanese as they can nicely put it. 6 course menu, started with blackened fried snacks, followed by a bowl of tasteless soup that the chef considered miso soup. We stopped the dinner, the chef was very arrogant. If you want Japanese, go to Japan, we got in response to her bad food. My tip: never go there, they are not worth a euro. A place to avoid. It hasn't often happened to me that I leave food behind, but nothing really tasted good. Meat of very questionable quality and the food offered (menu) was really substandard. Cold restaurant, dirty toilets, unfriendly owner, ... As a tourist you really feel cheated here.

Totally unhygienic, dirty plates and cutlery, hair in the sushi and spoiled food. Very rude service. As feedback on the dirty plates we got that they could not do anything about it because machine was broken. Also on the hairs their answer was that it could not possibly be their hair.

We will NEVER set foot in Sensai again. The person in charge was very aggressive and rude. Never came to the table during lunch, the assistant is completely inexperienced. The restaurant was completely empty on a Saturday, the others next to it were full, now I understand! The food was awful - the extremely greasy noodles and the rice reheated with no taste .
