This is very casual right in the center of things. We ducked in not expecting much as atmosphere was modern casual to be almost cafeteria feeling. Service was friendly and helpful. Seafood served all around us looked good. My wife had mussels and enjoyed them. I had eel which was very good. Frites of course. Reasonably priced wine. Happy enough... More

3 adults 1 child for dinner. Service was nice but inattentive. Food was ok. Setting was pretty and clean. The well done steak but super dry. Bread was tasty. I think there's better choices in Bruges.

The restaurant was closed on a Wednesday, we returned the next day and we were glad we did. I had super plump mussels, while my better half had a fillet steak, the service was quick, courteous and efficient. The place became noisy when a large group came in, but after what seemed to be a quick snack and wine they... More

We saw just £ on the page and thought it looked nice and assumed that it wouldn't be too expensive but I think it is a wrong quote as we had lunch there just 2 glasses of wine and 2 portions of Mussels and the bill was €65 ( perhaps £££ quote? - also a portion of the lobster was... More

I find it difficult to find a good bouillabaisse but we have found one in this place! The mussels with garlic butter as a starter was also very tasty. I would say, give it a try!

My sister was looking for a good place for mussels and like many she turned to an internet search. It's hard to know for sure based on internet reviews, but we took a chance on Breydel based on what we read. We made a reservation, which was definitely a good idea. Thankfully we were able to get a reservation with... More

In our 3 days in Bruges, we had walked by this restaurant many times. We kept saying, let's eat here. And, we finally did. We tried to dine one night, no openings. So, we had our front desk clerk make a reservation. You should think about making reservations as well. Specialties of the house are mussels and lobster. We had... More

The mussels were absolutely delicious. Atmosphere was warm and pleasant. The staff was kind. Compared to other places where we have eaten in Bruges this one is definitely to be recommended especially if you are a seafood fan. The prices are not cheap but the portions are considerable. Another good point is that you have all the prices written in... More
