We visited with our three children and the owners, despite having a busy restaurant, found us a table. The service and food was great...and we loved the snowball chocolates served with coffee so much we had to go and source some ourselves to bring home to enjoy over Christmas. Very highly recommended.

In my opinion, this place is among the best restaurants in Brugge. with iconic interior, small tables, music (live some days!), tasty food, great variety of spirits and drinks and helpful staff, it is a 'descent' choice from most of the visitors. it's a little bit expensive and you need to make a reservation earlier, like the most of the... They gave us the best place in the house, right next to the fireplace. We all had the shrimp croquettes (lovely) paired with their local beer. I thoroughly enjoyed my wild boar fillet with red port sauce, the others devoured their steak. We had a great time and highly recommend. Book your table upfront.

We visited on a Friday evening and had reserved a table in advance. The restaurant was busy and people were queuing in the restaurant. The Manager immediately apologised and explained that their computer system had crashed. The problem was resolved and we were pleased to be shown to a table in the main restaurant (upstairs). The restaurant was very busy... More

Was booked up but managed to get in on Sunday evening. Wasn't disappointed as had marvellous meal. The owner and the man who served us were friendly, knowledgeable about menu and wines. Just off market square, I would recommend a visit. Book in advance so as not to miss out.

Took forever to get our order. 40 min wait for a shrimp starter and 20 min wait to get the beer! We've asked for the bill twice, finally had to go to the counter to pay cause the bill never came. A friend spilled salt over his dish, they brought in a new dish minus the stuff he's already eaten!

Arrived here with friends just as the whole of the computerised booking system crashed - luckily the "patron" is a man with bags of experience and he took the whole thing in his stride as the queue of people built up at the door. We were very quickly shown a table and proceeded to have a very enjoyable and fun... More

The restaurant is set in a very atmospheric building, as seems the way with most places in Bruges ! The meal itself was OK, but nothing special. The service was good & friendly and the menu was reasonably priced. Bruges is more expensive than your average city, so if you`re on a budget it would be good advice to do... More

A brilliant find. We booked 2 weeks ago for a Sunday night jazz eve. It was full and turning people away all night. Had good food, steak, wild boar, good service and great atmosphere. Looks nothing from outside but its a very historic building with 2 fireplaces and great sound.
