To be honest we've been here a few times now, my kids love it. Alex is one of the nicest people I've ever met, in 41 years on the planet. Nice range of snacks, very well priced for a major tourist destination. We're going to Budapest in August, and will be taking a detour to Bruges just to go back!

I was there this weekend, but they only served Belgian waffles. I decided to get a chocolate waffle, but it was not fresh. Luckily the chocolate was nice.

We were waiting to start tour of brewery around the corner from this little sandwich/waffle place and decided to grab a quick bite. The place is small with a few little stools lined up and a window to order from the street. Decent priced panini sandwiches made right in front of you and frankly quite delicious...I had a pesto, ham,... More

A nice, quaint little Belgian cafe popular with both locals and tourists. I had ordered waffles with ice-cream. They made it extra foamy and the taste was beyond delicious. Also, the seating area is pretty accommodative. Worth a visit when you're tired walking down the canal streets.

We visited here several times during a half term visit with our children in October 2015. The place itself is small, catering for sweet and savoury tastes, crepes, waffles, sandwiches, paninis, pasta all available to eat in or takeaway. Fronted by an excellent, professional and friendly owner and priced very reasonably for the location, we tried pretty much everything on... More

Came in for lunch. There were mostly sandwhices on the menu. The prices were decent given where we were. The sandwhiches tasted fine. I had a ham & cheese panini.

The young man who owns Porta takes pride in every order. He was really busy running the shop on his own but still managed to be friendly and cook every item fresh. Our waffles were so good!

We were looking for a quick, good and inexpensive lunch and found Porta. Delicious soup, huge and tasty vegetarian panini and sweet pancake. Perfect meal to enjoy on a nearby bench, while people watching. Owners are multi language fluent.

Very good value for food. Reasonably priced, practical and real, fresh food. Don't forget to try the soup!

Was looking forward to this after reading so many good reviews about a good quality cheap place to get a snack from in Bruges. Most people seem to buy pasta boxes. Everything seems to be under 5 euro, definitely a rare find in Bruges. We only ordered a croque Hawaii and it took about 30mins. Was nice when we got... More
