had dinner her with our 3 kids (8, 5 & 1). The staff couldn't have been more helpful in sorting out tables & arranging food sharing for this kids. The food it's self was fantastic! The stew & selection of North Sea fish was amazing. For a relatively cheap meal in a lovely quirky location you can't go wrong! Really... More

My wife and me we're there on a Saturday evening. The staff was friendly and the meal was "eat-able". Not more. Okay. I think all the good critics here on trip advisor were written by 20 year old students that know just frozen pizza and spaghetti.

My wife and I were actually looking for food that is local and that it tastes good and this place provided just that. We both enjoyed what we ordered. I had their beef stew and my wife had fish soup and scampi. Loved it

I don't even recall how we found this place but it is a small place off the major tourist streets. Pol & Ingrid were both nice and the waterzooie was tasty (though chicken-based vs. fish.) The decorations in the place are kitschy which appears to be a testament to Pol being a graphic designer when he's not being a chef.... More

After a cold and wet day we enjoyed the friendliness and soul food at The Habit. Nice and cold wine were served and the portions were more than enough. Thanks to the host and chef !

Food was fresh and delicious, one of the best meals we had in Bruges. Good service, a few varieties of beer that went well with our meal of fish and stew. After dinner we ducked into the pub next door (Brugs Beertje) for an outstanding selection of Beligan beers.

The decor was fun but kind of silly, but the food really delicious. I was honestly surprised with how fantastic the fish stew ("soup") was, and the Belgian (Flemish) beef stew was good as well. The beer list was disappointing considering this is Belgium, but we still found some decent drinks.

Great Belgian Stew. Great mussels. Excellent wine- small wine list - maybe I should say uncluttered wine list? - (6 reds and 6 whites) but we had a bottle of each and both very good. Cozy and a nice atmosphere. Service really good. Will definitely be back. Highly recommended....

We turned up late for food expecting to be turned away but the host warmly invited us in. A quirky restaurant that doesn't seat many, which makes you feel like you have been invited in for dinner. The menu isn't vast but is all homemade and very tasty. It is a husband and wife team. He is front of house... More

We ended up coming here for two nights of our three nights stay in Brugge. The first night we stumbled upon The Habit I ordered Garlic Bread for starters and my husband ordered the soup - the soup never appeared! however I will forgive them as the mains were absolutely gorgeous - we both had the meatballs and they were...
