After a rainy walk in Bruge - this lovely cafe offered us friendly service and free wifi for only the cost of a cafe au lait. Merci beaucoup

My train arrived early afternoon and so I was rather hungry after check in to my hotel room above the restaurant. I enjoyed my Salade Nicoise with a pint of Leffe Blonde. Service was slow due to the crowd but it was worth the wait
A good spot for a dark brown Belgian beer, accompagnied by some yummy Serrano ham, straight from the knuckle. A perfect spot to do some people-watching ;)

The restaurant provides an inexpensive menu and although the food didn't impress, it was mostly ok. Service was competent, but definitely felt like a tourist getting a tourist treatment. If you're hungry and nearby, you could do worst than picking this restaurant for your lunch.

The Cafe 't Zand is situated in the middle of a group of typical tourist restaurants so we weren't expecting fine dining but looks can be deceiving. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The staff were very good too. We would certainly visit again.
