Oh my, when you come across a place, and you honestly leave a place and you wished you had the place in your home city, well this was it for me.
Coffees, and ordered the obvious, waffles, brussels waffles with ice cream, oh my so light, so yummy. My friend went for what was a sweeter version he said, a liege waffle. Loved it.
I couldn't resist the temptation, but I had to have another, and went for the banana bonanza, oh yes,
We were hooked, and definitely put it on our agenda to visit the next day, alas, gutting, plans, and a busy schedule, we missed out that pleasure.
Roll on next year, when we plan to revisit the city..

These are light and tasty! Who knew a savory waffle would be so good?!! And the dessert ones, too. Their coffee is good, so is the service. We were visiting at Christmas time, so the place can be packed because it's good and the smell drifts out onto the street - they serve takeaway waffles at the window, too, but come in and enjoy! We each had a savory waffle and shared a sweet one (they're not overly sweet - not heavy at all) and had coffees for about 40 US dollars. Nobody NEEDS more than one waffle, just hard not to. We ate here twice in a week.

It opens at 10.30 and will get very full very quickly. The menu is quite large and there are some nice options for savoury waffles which I really like. I think it's a good spot for breakfast/brunch and the waffles/serving size is pretty big so it's a nice filling start to the day. It's not particularly cheap - a savoury waffle is about 14/15 Euros but they are pretty big. You can mix and match too and add different things to your waffles (at an extra cost of course). There is a takeaway hatch too if you want a waffle on the go! I am not sure if the prices are different if you sit in however.

Stopped here for a late lunch having eaten a large breakfast early in the day. We decided to be decadent and this filled the bill nicely. It is not a large shop but we found seating easily. Service was friendly and speedy once we got our order placed. One of us had a cherry delight waffle which was excellent and the other built a waffle with cream patisserie, warm caramel, and chocolate sauce. This latter waffle would have been outstanding without the chocolate sauce. The chocolate was very thick and rich and overpowered the waffle. This, however, was not the fault of the establishment. Next time we would definitely order a waffle with cream patisserie and caramel but forego the chocolate. It simply wasn't to our taste. The waffles themselves were nice and light, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. We loved them and would return.

We went here for afternoon waffles and it was well worth the visit. We had both Brussels and Liege waffles with cherries, which were delicious. The owner approached everyone that was dining to welcome them and ask them how everything is. He also personally said happy birthday to me and surprised me with a waffle with chocolate on the house which was very nice of him to do and also tasted excellent. A stones throw from the main square and very nice, relaxing interiors.

We had one Belgian waffle and one of the other type. The first one was ok not very soft (maybe that is how it is supposed to be), the second one was good. The service was good, not too friendly. Prices were pretty high for the food, we paid 23 euros for two cappuccinos and the two waffles! Would not really recommend

Dear Margherita,
Indeed the art of making a Brussels Waffle is to make it crispy at the outside and soft inside.
The Liege waffles do not have the crispy element and taste sweet, soft from the beginning.
I can see something went wrong because your overall feeling is not 100%.I am very sorry because we want to give all our clients such a good time.
Come back, identify yourself and we will repair that feeling.

My wife is obsessed with waffles and this was he first proper waffle experience in Belgium... and it was a massive winner! We tried both a Brussels and Liege style waffle which I would certainly recommend, plus the chocolate sauce was 👌 The service was fantastic with really friendly staff who found us a table to fit our pram next to. A must visit in Bruges

If you stop at Bruges, you will visit a tons of wonderful and tiny streets. You also have a wonderful and huge square at the centre, and near the center 5min by walk, its the adress.of the best waffles in Bruges: HOUSE OF WAFFLES. I wanted to indulge my self after this day of high temperatures. It was just to hot that day. But I wanted to eat wafffles, and here I am. In the patio of the waffles shop, very intimate and lovely. I entered in the shop and all employees warmly welcomed. The young waiter adviced the Brussels waffle, more light compare to the rich Liege waffle. But, I know myself, I cant go without trying both type. So I did ordered the Brussel after the Liege one. IT WAS AMAZING !!! Crème patissière vas very good, maybe a bit too jelly, but the taste was good. The chantilly was just wonderful and super fresh. The black berries portion was generous, and its a good point. And the waffles was just perfect, exatcly what I needed after a hot day. Plating was also correct but a little classic. The waiter asked me twice my feedback, and if everything was doing goood. All employees send regards and I had a wonderfull waffle's experience. Definetly will come back to this waffle shop. It worth it and very valuable. Thank you very much and see you next time !

We visited this restaurant on the day that Belgium was closing all restaurants and cafes due to COVID-19. The staff was very kind, and we were able to talk to them more personally since we were the only customers. It was really nice to hear more about the local culture, and the waffles were also very good! We were worried about how they would do without jobs after everything closed down, and we hope that they are well!

I tried the leige waffles with vanilla ice-cream and chocolate sause and it was very tasty. The owners were constantly checking on the guests and going from table to table to make sure everyone is happy. The lady owner insisted on wiping our table when she saw it was not cleaned and went to get us menus after she noticed we were there for a few min and not yet served.

Everything about the place is nice. Loved the menu with all the pics and great presentation of the products. Also many options sweet and savory waffles. Ordered the warm cherry with ice cream and it was delicious 💕 didn't disappoint at all.

Although we are regular, annual visitors to Bruges we never realised there are two different types Liege and Brussels waffles. We popped in here to try the Brussels waffles on a recommendation and will never go back to the liege waffles now. On Saturday we popped in and had 2 x Cherry Delight, 1 x original and a Banana and chocolate combo and on Sunday we popped back for brunch and had a Cherry Delight, an original and a BLT savoury and Chicken ensemble. All completely amazing. We loved the food, the quirky decor and mostly the staff. So please pop in and sample for yourself it is totally worth it. We will return as soon as we can. Keep doing what you are doing as its working x

Our group of five was larger than most, nonetheless, we waited perhaps 10-15 minutes and were happily seated. Our group ordered the liege waffle with various toppings. The host and our waiter were very kind and welcoming. Our waffles were delicious, the experience very nice, and the host kindly brought my son a waffle 'on the house' after my son told him how hungry he was!

Lovely waffles that were throughly enjoyable and just what we needed. However , the lady serving us our waffles was eating the waffles that were either not used or bits that had fallen off and when doing so licking her fingers in which she was then using her hands and fingers to pick up our waffles to prepare and serve. This is unhygienic and doesn’t sit right with me or my friends and family. Disgusting

The waffle was decent and it was around the price you'd expect to pay in the area. Sadly, the service was quite bad. With only around 30% of the tables being used, it took 10 minutes to get a menu, another 10 to manage to call them over to place an order and when i wanted to finally get the bill there was no staff member anywhere to be found. Additionally, they are not the friendliest... I overheard the table next to mine asking for a recommendation and the guy said he didn't know and they were taking too long to order.
