Went here in May of 2015. Friendly staff, English menus and free wifi, all great things for the weary American traveler. Excellent and vast beef selection and good local food. We went back twice during our short stay.

The range of beers was impressive, though it's an open question whether hundreds of beers really enhance the experience! The service was rather gruff and slow, but I'd probably go back.

A great atmosphere. Be prepared to be overwhelmed by the choice of beers on offer. Asked the bar man for advice after reading through the catalogue of beers available and ordered the 'Cambrinus' which was delicious. Returned three nights running, each time staff were friendly and quick to accommodate us. On the final night we tried a 'Corne' beer which... More

Too many 'Reserved' tables to support tourist. My family was lucky a waitress took pity and sat us at a Reserved table but counseled us we needed to be gone in an hour...food was good but the beer was better, service was with a smile and very helpful but slow to remove plates and glasses from table...overall, average meal, nice... I have been here a number of times now over a four year period. Cambrinus is famous for it's large beer selection and also a good varied menu. The food is of good quality, though you will want to reserve a table if you are dining after 7.30pm as it is always busy. The 'Brewers menu', for €30 is worth... More

Historic and charming Bierbrasserie serving great home cooked food and a vast range of beers. Well priced in compared to lesser eateries a few yards away in the main square. Most of the staff, though busy, were friendly and welcoming, except our waitress who must have been having a bad day! Didn't detract from the experience and and location. Quality... More

We entered this place to taste a number of beers from the list of almost 500 types. The placed was crowded and had to wait for a place to sit. We discovered that the bar was serving food as well and we decided to have our dinner here. We were not disappointed. It was so tasty that we also had... More

We visited this bar for lunch when we were in Bruges on a day trip from our cruise on the Ventura. We ordered a selection of sandwiches and some fries and they were spot on for what we wanted for a lightish lunch. When we ordered drinks we both opted for one of the paddles which included four different beers... More

Have been here a few times and never disappoints, the food is good quality, portions are good and the beer selection is very good. Staff are rushed as can be expected from a busy place and some reviews say they are abrupt and not friendly but to be fair if I worked in somewhere like that I would be the... More
