3 course Menu for lunch

We had lunch here on a weekday, the 3 course lunch menu costs 17 Euros. We had tomato soup/salad for starter, mussels/chicken in waterzooi for main course and chocolate mousse for dessert, food is fine , decent portion, service is quick. We sit outside the atmosphere is nice and relaxing.

If you do choose to eat here because of its proximity to the main square and shops, I suggest the cheap €17 menu deal as the a la carte menu is overpriced for the quality of the ingredients. The meat was OK but the soup, sauces, chutney etc were rather like budget supermarket offerings

I visited this cosy restaurant last weekend. It's located centrally on a tiny quiet square just behind the main Markt Square. The staff were welcoming and friendly and had no problem giving my elderly mum a small dinner on request. The menu was traditionally Belgian, and the food was delicious.

We found this little restaurant when we walked off of the main square and were delighted ! Used it all three nights of our stay in Bruges. Friendly staff, intimate atmosphere, used by locals which is always a good sign. A 3 course meal for under €20 and very tasty. Good choice of beer and wine. Felt 'at home' and... More

We visited Bruges for a couple of days this week and very much enjoyed eating and drinking in this little place just off the main square. The owner Alfred is very friendly. We visited this place last time we visited Bruges as well and would highly recommend it. They do a lovely selection of food which is cooked perfectly. Will... More

We popped in here for a quick lunch! It was nice but small!! Set back from the main square it was charming and good for us. Very expensive as to be expected. My husbands croque monsiur was tiny. About 3 mouthfuls and didn't come with Frits as stated. My Belgium beef stew was nice. Again small. And my hubby stole... More

This was off season (is there one in these cities?) As it was cold we ate inside with the only other diners there. We had the €17 three course set lunch. The waiters were attentive and polite. My wife the had patè on toast (vey good) and I had the soup (could have come from a tin) for starters, Flemish... More

We stopped here after trawling the main square for an eatery. It was €17 euros for a three course lunch. The waiters were attentive and very polite. We had patè on toast for starters, Flemish beef stew for the main and chocolate mousse for desert. The food was extremely nice , especially the stew , my partner lacked gravy so... More

There are many places to eat in Bruges, skip this place. Our waiter asked my partner if she was my sister, she said no that we were partners. Upon hearing this, he had a disgusted look upon his face and told us our card did not work. My girlfriend saw the machine say "transaction" canceled. Our cards had been working... More
