Group of nine friends spent a very pleasant evening at Pieter Pourbus - all the food was well cooked accompanied with agreeable house wines - great evening had by all and for a reasonable price of fifty euros per head

We were recommended this gorgeous traditional restaurant by our hotel a few years ago and we make sure we visit it every time we come back to Bruges. We have brought both friends and family along and also recommended it to other friends and work colleagues who have loved it as much as us. The owners Yves and Heidi along... More

The service was good, but the food was rather disappointing. Both steaks were overcooked, and the rib steak was rather tough and not very flavourful. The steak sauce that is the restaurant's specialty is actually some sort of goulash - not bad, but not the greatest pairing. Definitely not good value for money.

Good standard traditional dinner. Nothing blew us away but nothing stood out as bad. Enjoyed the atmosphere.

I dined at the restaurant with my wife, adult children and our baby grandaughter. The food was really excellent. The shrimp and cheese croquettes and the house scampi in a cheese sauce were all a great start to the meal and our fillet and sirloin steaks were also really good with very good pepper, Bernaise and mushroom sauces. The restaurant... More

My boyfriend & I visited this restaurant as it had good reviews on TripAdvisor. Was not disappointed!!!! The food was delicious! I had filet steak which was cooked to perfection & my boyfriend had the rack of lamb which he said was the best he has ever had!! Staff were very friendly and the restaurant itself had a rustic Belgian... More

Set menu was excellent - service very good - ambience perfect (low background music and a buzz of conversation). A 10 minute walk from our hotel in a quiet part of Bruges. Not expensive since service is included.

We found this restaurant via TripAdvisor. It's located some 200 meters outside the tourist area, but still it was fully booked. We ordered the full menu for €55. It includes 3 courses + a bottle of housewine / 2 persons + the home aperitif. You can choose between different dishes per course. We had scampi with garlic sauce. It was... More

Sightly away from the main square this place is popular with locals and tourists. The food is standard fare, well cooked. If you are hungry and want a good quality mid price meal go here. Not the place for a special treat, though it was highly recommended by the Guardian. But don't let that put you off.
