We had booked to go to another restaurant this night and was turned away as they decided to have a private event on even after they confirmed our booking twice. Soooo happy we were turned away and had to come here! The food was SOOOO good! The mozzarella and tomato bruschetta was literally out of this world. The mozzarella was the best I’ve ever had. I had a cheese dish which I actually can’t remember what it was called but again it was so delicious. Everyone in my family really enjoyed there meal and the service was brilliant! We will be coming back next year when we visit brugges! Please still have the bruschetta on the menu!! Thanks for a great meal!

Very nice restaurant specialising in traditional ingredients to make lovely pizzas and other assorted Italian based dishes. Service is quietly efficient and friendly. Quality of food we had was excellent, all washed down with a very nice house wine. Highly recommended and good value for your money.

We just tried our luck getting into Amuni on a Monday night in Brugge when a lot of eating places are closed. They were very helpful & attentive plus the pizza was absolutely delicious! Very different menu on offer. Would definitely return to eat here. 100% recommended

A cold pizza arrives and the waiter argues that it's come out at the same time as our other pizzas, which are warm. A decent restaurant knows how to deal with adversity. Amuni on this night did not. We are regulars in Bruges for 30 years, visiting twice a year, and in all that time we can't recall a bad meal in this lovely, foodie city ... until Amuni. We turn up with friends, bed and breakfast owners in Bruges, who have recommended Amuni to visitors but won't be any longer, and two journalists. We've wanted to visit Amuni for some time, having gone to Carlitos round the corner and not been disappointed there. But it was painfully obvious that the mostly young staff at Amuni were not fully in control. There were bits and pieces at first, a small wine spillage and members of our party having to get up and down to get them to bring cheese over and raise the question of why one member of our party's pizza was cold. The waiter persisted with his line that all the pizzas came out at the same time. Out into the restaurant, perhaps, but not out of the oven at the same time. Any decent restaurant would have brought a new pizza immediately. Not this one. It was taken away and re-emerged five minutes later burnt and inedible. The waiter offered a starter or dessert instead! The cold pizza was taken off our bill, but if they'd apologised and produced a fresh one, Amuni would have done the right thing and not been penalised financially. The fact it was handled badly we can only put down to lack of restaurant training. I can't remember the last time I complained about a restaurant. Amuni, unfortunately, is this exception. Must do an awful lot better. The great thing is that there are infinitely better places in Bruges.

Did receive the reservation confirmation days later after having asked again. When seated and ordered drinks it took them 35 minutes to deliver 2 lemonades and a bottle of white wine. We ordered with the drinks some focaccia and cheese and it appears to take 45 minutes too. It is not only slow food but also slow serving… And when we got the bill we even had our own nickname, which seems a joke from the manager when we asked. The waiter suffered from the red cheek syndrome when we asked.

Waitress wasn't unfriendly, the only time she moved quickly was to collect the money. Not sure why there's a paper menu for food but you need to go online to see the drinks... moreover two of our ordered drinks apeared out of stock. The food was average, we all ate pasta that was very salty. We were still a bit hungry after finishing, portions a little on the smaller side.. Honestly we mostly enjoyed the decor . Much more than the food and service which is a pitty. The 4 stars given on average is overrated. There are better Italian restaurants where you pay less in Bruges

Place was recommended to us so thought it would be nice. Found the service unfriendly. The crust came half way down the pizza slice, meaning there was very little toppings - it was more like eating a sourdough loaf of bread. Ordered beers and asked for 3 glasses of tap water, when the bill came we had been charged €9 for the 3 tap waters!!! Avoid in future

Hello, we find it very unfortunate that you didn't like our pizza. However, it is a pity that because you don't agree with the bill, you use this as an excuse for this review. You should know we sell Italian water (San Pellegrino and Acqua Panna), but you chose to order only tap water. This might be common practice in other countries, this is not a common practice in Belgium - as you don't need to pay tips in Belgium. We pay our bartender to prepare the glasses for you, the waiter brings the glasses, they are cleaned just like all other glasses, the monthly rent has to be paid, the electricity and heating for the 3 people drinking tap water has to be paid as well. Finally, we will of course relay this remark to the Belgium tax agency so they might maybe lower all the taxes we need to pay. Still hope to see you again, and we recommend you then order one of our Belgian beers or Italian drinks.

This is definitely a restaurant we would not return to. Positives were that the online booking worked well, the staff was friendly, and our bruschetta appetizer tasty ( even though one side was charred black). There were too many downsides though for us to recommend. My Campari Spritz at 10 E had no “ spritz”. Just a splash of Campari, mostly ice, and no Prosecco. We asked for tap water, and were told the restaurant didn’t provide that. We had to get bottled water as an upcharge. Yet there were other guests ( clearly locals) who did have tap water. Our pizza was primarily just crust. It was advertised as asparagus, cheese, and ham. There was about one spear of asparagus cut into (at most) 10 tiny cubes. There was almost no cheese. Yet we saw other pizzas at nearby tables loaded with ingredients. Again, seemed like local customers. The overall experience left us feeling overcharged and underfed because we were tourists.

Recommended by our Hotel , Augustyn Hotel…. Welcome ? Very badly received by a vulgar young blonde, barely polite. Pizza Napoli ….. 4 anchovies 😳 the pizza was soft or even soaked Pasta carbonara , not « al dente » …. Not hot !!! And so very salty …. We asked to changed it .. the girl said « that s the chef’s receipt !!! Spot can be so lovely but they made it uncosy, we were sitting on the sofa ( dirty ) listening both music … restaurant and kitchen boom boom music . Toilets were not cleaned Anyway We crossed the street for a lovely winebar

A lovely restaurant, the food was OK, but the service was really weird. They weren’t sure we could go in (even though it was empty). Asked us to use same cutlery for starters and main and then trying to split the bill - seemed like a step to far. Shame really.

Absolutely not recommended, anyone who knows about pizzas will notice, unlike how they are advertised, the pizzas are made without love, our expectations were unfortunately not met. We ordered a classic marinara which was basically a disc with little tomato on top and no flavour, but the worst was the other pizza, the calzone, which had many, too many, burnt parts, a sign of careless cooking. Furthermore, the filling was really poor, almost absent, so it's not clear what justifies such a high price for the pizza! If you want to eat good pizza, stay away from here

Absolutely incredible sourdough pizza with high quality toppings. It’s hard to decide where to eat in Bruges, but if you fancy high quality reasonably priced Ritalin food at a fair price, this is 100% excellent. Also, excellent, friendly service.

We arrived having not booked and were able to get a table (3) the pizza was nice but nothing out of the ordinary but the service was shocking. What appeared to be the manager he looked stressed/in a bad mood which filtered down to all the staff. Service was also very slow, I wouldn’t be in a rush to go back

I felt like I was welcomed into the home of a beloved Italian grandmother, where the smell of freshly prepared food immediately embraces you. Each dish was prepared with such care and love that I felt like I was tasting a piece of Italy. The flavors were rich and authentic, and for the quality you get, the prices are extremely fair. A culinary experience that exudes warmth and conviviality, just the way it should be.

Four days exploring Bruges. We had not discussed a restaurant on the day of arrival. We explored the city for a bit and then we passed Amunì at 6:15 PM. Just ask inside for a spot. That turned out to be possible until 8 p.m. After that everything was reserved. So sit back and relax. Very friendly staff and beautiful decor. Really thought about it very carefully. Starter and pizzas were great. They use a slow-food method. Organic products too. Very nice light base. Our table companion had the slightly more expensive pizza Monti Nebrodi with, among other things, Nebrodi black pork cheek, pumpkin, pecorino and mint. Delicious. A nice bottle of wine made it complete. In our opinion, definitely recommended.
