Nice dinner here - been before many years ago but food appears to have remained consistently good! Focus is on meats and fish grilled on an open fire in the restaurant, Angus ribeye was superb! €110 for two with apero, wine two courses plus Irish coffees to finish. Very nice romantic setting by the canal.

Very comfortable atmosphere; great food; excellent value. Husband and wife run...We enjoyed the grilled tiger prawns (large), salmon, and sea bass. The steaks around us looked amazing! We were 2 adult couples... with our entrees.... beer or wine each, and 2 extra sides... our total was 128 Euros... amazing for the quality, service, and atmosphere. Our service was the female... It is worth the very short walk from the historical centre to get away from the tourist places. This was a small and very welcoming restaurant where you can see the food being grilled on a open wood fire. From the 'amuse-bouche' through the lovely starters and then on to the steaks and lamb chops - what a treat. It... More

After the orders were taken we were brought some appetizers. Mousse of salmon on home baked crackers and twists. For starter we all had white asparagus from Mechelen/Malines with home smoked salmon and a mousseline sauce. Accompanied by butter and home baked bread. Mains were different: two ribeye angus beef and one tiger prawns in garlic butter. My ribeye was... More

My wife and our adult daughter and I had dinner at this restaurant on our final night in Bruges based on a recommendation from the staff at the Hotel Jon Brito. From that hotel it is about a 10 minute walk away from the town center. The restaurant is small and quaint and you need a reservation (we ate on... More

Wow. Right from the entree (mushrooms with snails covered in an indescribably delicious sauce), it was a wonderful meal. Watching the chef cook on an open fire added to a special evening. Service was personable and engaging. Steak and salmon was prepared exceptionally well. A gem.

Excellent quality, creative food with good but slightly slow service. The building is beautiful and makes for a great setting. The chocolate mousse and steaks were top quality. This was the best meal we had in Brugge

I have eaten here a few times in the past, and always had a fantastic meal. However this time I was disappointed. Firstly the service was slow. Very slow. After waiting 45 minutes since I finished my starter I was told my steak had been cooked incorrectly and they had to start again. My wife ordered cod which made us... More
