What can I say? The papadums were the most incredibly light, airy and tasty I've ever eaten. The accompanying sauces were a taste sensation. The chicken sadai was just plain delicious - the perfect balance of fresh spices with a little kick. Effectively the best...curry in Leuven. Then we add in the welcoming hospitality and family atmosphere to make a wonderful meal exceptional. What a find! Don't judge the size or decor - this is an authentic find ...took me back to my days in the curry mile in Manchester. I can't recommend it highly enough or wait til my next visitMore

We went for dinner with my husband to the New Holy Cow on a Saturday night. We already had dishes from them delivered to our place so we decided to try their restaurant. I can't say that the place is particularly cozy but the food...makes up for it. The dishes are good and definitely spicy which is not something you can find easily in Belgium. The waitress was very friendly so overall this is a nice place to go if you want a no fuss, good and spicy Indian dinner.More

Very friendly waitress but the food moderate. The decoration is bad and the chairs are ready to crumble. The top space is claustrophobic.

The food was very tasty. Big portions. But we waited quite a long time to get it. The waitress was quite friendly but we didn’t get our change, so she took tips without asking. The place is very old and dirty. Don’t touch anything! Toilets...urgently need a renovation. Lots of people inside (no free tables) and lots of orders to take away so I assume the quality of their food is still good. Would I recommend it? Not sure. Would I go again? Maybe but definitely not with a “decent” company.More

The paneer tikka masala was delicious. In fact it was the best paneer I have tried in Leuven (I mean the actual cheese). There were several vegetarian dishes in the menu, which for me is always a plus.

We’ve been going to New Holy Cow regularly since it opened many years ago. The food is always fresh and tasty, service is very hospitable and quick. What it lacks in decor, the owner and staff more than make up for in service. Favorite Indian...place in Leuven.More

We loves the vegatarian appetizers. I afterwards took rice with vegtables and chicken. Was told that it was going to be spicy but it was actually ok. The price is medium. Very surprised!

Friendly staff and good authentic food. We had very good sizzling Sheek kabab and vegetable pakora with mango chutney. Mains were perfect chicken korma and spicy chicken jalfrezi (though they say it's mild). Take the pulau rice instead of the plain rice, it's more flavoured....And try some of the delicious garlic nan. The salty and mango lassi are both good company for the meal.More
