Cooked to perfection. Medium rare as it’s meant to be. Great service and attentive staff. But what’s the deal with the toilets? No doors into the toilets and they stank. Really stank. Why would you drop the ball on something like this.More

The food at Du Progrès was really good, we got the Chateaubriand for two. They have a large range of beers and the staff is extremely attentive to your needs and desires. It's on the pricier side for a brasserie but the location is great...so I'd say it's worth it !More

Visited this place for lunch with 4 years old toddlers. Staff was very friendly - brought some pencils for kids to keep busy while waiting for food. Good choice on kids menu. Food was tasty and portions big.

Friendly and efficient service on a very busy Friday night. Thankfully we had booked in advance and were well looked after on our first night in Ghent. Food was very good, little extras were also appreciated and indeed everything coming out of the kitchen looked...very appetising.More

Very popular with locals and tourists alike, the ambience was great - busy, animated but everything well organised by the wait staff who were friendly, quick and attentive. I could skip the cheese and shrimp croquettes, but the fish was superb and the veggies too....The wine was very nice and overall - a great meal . It was €65 which is rather expensive, but I wasn't paying and it was after a long business day .. I shall come backMore

Food was impeccable and fresh. Recommend the sea bass and Pasta Bolognese (not local Belgium food obviously, but it was delicious), fresh fish and delicately cooked. Best restaurant experience so far in Belgium. Friendly staff with delicious complimentary warm soup for tourists like us on...a windy day tour in Ghent.More

This very popular restaurant in the city centre was pleasant and enjoyable. We were impeccably served and the food was decent. I would say that the pasta I had was a little bland, a big bowl of tagliatelle and cream with some salmon added. However...not unpleasant at all. Wine was good and the prices were reasonable.More

Really good restaurant. The staff were very friendly, food was good. Try the pork cheeks in beer stew which is a local speciality. Nice decor with photos of Ghent from the past.
