We went inside without a reservation but they had more than a few free places. We ask if we could eat there and they say yes and prepare our table. We order, around 15 minutes we had our dinner but then, 5 minutes later they...tell us we just have 20 minutes to eat and leave because we were without a reservation, that seems horrible for me, they should have tell us before we order and obviously before we started eating, that’s so rude from my point of view. Extremely packed restaurant and very noisy, it’s like everyone is screaming inside because everyone else in there does the same thing. People sit really close to other people. I don’t like my elbows brushing to random strangers while eating. There appears to be an Indian...curry take away next door and an Indian curry shop as well. That expansion did not go hand in hand with added quality. Very high prices for a small portion. Waitresses give zero advice about the food options, asking for dahl as a side dish seemed impossible yet there appeared a menu like dish that had different dishes with palak paneer on the side. The tikka massala was ok, very sweet. The chicken vindaloo was not spicy but tasted good. The restaurant’s philosophy ought to be reconsidered in order for it to be nice again.More

I went there with my family and they got the best Indian food I ever got, especially the butter chicken! The staf and owners are very nice and friendly. When you go inside you feel like a part of the Indian culture with the paintings...on the wall and others things. I would go again!More

This has got to be the rudest owner and staff since I've been in Gent 2weeks! First the owner gave me terrible looks as if she was racist!! Then I ordered curry shrimp. From a person that knows curry and almost every cuisine this was...nasty! Not only is the quality of shrimp cheap it doesn't even compare to the smaller Indian restaurants around Ghent. I guess the ratings are from people that don't travel much and don't know good food! Never again- Keep your rude behavior and nasty curry!More

I came here several times and the quality is outstanding, plenty of authentic choices in the middle of the city. One of the better places to come with Authentic owners.

Friendly service. Food was average for Indian restaurant and disappointing when reading before the Tripadvisor reviews. Dessert had limited choices and was not nicely presented and taste not that well.

Awesome food. One of the best indian food I've eaten. Service was kind and we didn't have to wait at all. Reservation in advance is highly recommended, we were lucky to get our seat without one.

I ate multiple times at Indian curry house, every time a different dish and every time I was amazed how good everything is! I ate vegetarian dishes, chicken dishes and with lamb. My friends also like it very much. Very happy also with the service...there, everyone is so happy and friendly. It feels like home. Very good!!More
