Good supper for the two of us, seated straight away with no reservation but if you want to sit outside, book ahead. We had a meze plate to share to start followed by a shwarma, all very nice! Calamari was a bit heavy but otherwise...nice.More
Located in the Patershol neighborhood is a lovely Turkish restaurant. Great food great service and over the top portion sizes especially on the Mezze mixed plates. This place fills up and after eating there once you will understand why. A definite find..
I tried a plate called meze or maze I think and it was amazing! So big, so many varieties it has! It's true that they accidentally put a piece of smoked salmon underneath everything but oh well, my brother ate, it! Haha :)
Ankara is a wonderful Turkish restaurant in the patershol neighborhood. The restaurant was packed and buzzing with locals when we visited on a December day. The house wine was delicious and the food was amazingly good.the kabobs were awesome and even the veggie options were...finger licking good.More
The food here is lovely, all of our party was well catered for! We visited last year as a couple and this year bought our friends. This is a busy place so I did pop in earlier that day to reserve a table. The only...comment is that because it's so busy there is no customer interaction. It's "can I take your drink/food order" , "can I take your plates" , "here is your bill". I'm not asking for the annoying chit chat whilst eating but a hi how has your day been, thank you for choosing to dine with us would of got you a 5 star review. The food is good value, tasty and yes we will be back next year!More
Went here Friday night and the place was packed. Food was awesome. Two of our group went for the Chefs Platter which was amazing. Loads of grilled meats, potatoes and other niceties. Mixed grill was spot on too!
