Ok place for the money but not your traditional meatball. Crunchy exterior with little meat. Mash just ok as they mixed carrots within. Price good if you are feeding kids.

I've been there last week with my family, and I must say that the waitresses were amazingly nice, helpful, prepared and friendly. But about the food.. well nothing special. For 14.50 you can get one ball (you can choose between 6 different options) and a...More
We had an afternoon snack -- pork meatball with spinach (I think) filling over stoemp. Huge amount of food, and it cost 12 Euro. Ambience is very nice. Meatball was delicious. Other flavor available was chicken tikka masala meatball, which we may go back to...More
A disappointment, young and cool personnel but without attention for the customers. Busy handing out takeaway with a table of twelve waiting... and waiting. People listen carefully go somewhere else!!! Only two kinds of beer to chose from!? Come o you are in Belgium! What...More
I find that many of the places in Ghent think that expect everyone enjoys sitting around socializing. Socializing is fine, but I don't want to sit in a restaurant for a couple of hours. I had heard about Balls & Glory and wasn't excited to...More
The menu is small but good! I love the simple but tasty concept in a really nice atmosphere. The service is great and i love the free fruit as dessert (great reminder to eat an apple a day). It's a great place for couples, family,...More

Hi ChloesmomNJ! Thank you for having lunch at ours! We were pleased to serve you ;-) Indeed, the mashed potatoes are the favorites one of everyone! Did you know we also have restaurants in Brussels, Leuven & Antwerp ;-) You're welcome there as well!
At Balls & Glory you order the minute you enter the restaurant. The concept is simple: you choose from four different meatballs, all with a hearty and liquid filling, and either a salad or 'stoemp' (mashed potato with veg). Then you find yourself a seat...More
Hi suzanne! Thanks for coming! I hope you enjoyed it and that we see you back again soon! :)
Great concept, they had three different meatballs to choose from with a choice of salad and mash. The mash also had a mix of vegetables mixed together. Really tasty and good value. The staff were friendly. Overall it's a must when visiting Ghent!
