Best burgers in Gent

Somewhat out of Gent’s populair center we found this nice burger restaurant. Great selection of burgers with beer recommendations. Nice atmosphere, very good burgers, friendly service, but fries were bit to thick. We’ll definately return 😊

Very good burgers and fries in a cool cozy atmosphere. It's a bit expensive and they don't except cache. Waiters are kind. The place looks clean. There are plenty of choices for vegetarians and vegans (and meat eaters too!!!! ;) )

Great Burgers, Great Service

Great burgers in a nice atmosphere. It is very busy, but the waiters are very kind and are somehow able to take orders and serve in a timely fashion. Maybe an additional staff member could make it an even better experience?

Good food, but…

We had made a reservation for 6:15 PM so that we would definitely be on time for the movie at 8:00 PM. There were about 4 other tables in front of us. The service was quick at first and the drinks were also delivered quickly. After us, more and more people gradually came in. When we had not received any food after 40 minutes, we started paying attention to who was being served. It was always people who came in after us who were served. After an hour and 10 minutes we called the waitress and asked if they had forgotten us. She said, somewhat irritated, "I'll go ask." After 5 minutes she came back saying it would be ready in 5 minutes. After 10 minutes our food finally arrived. Now we had to eat and get to the cinema in less than 25 minutes. There wasn't much of a really enjoyable meal in the house because you had to gobble it down. There were never any excuses for this, on the contrary. When the waiter asked at checkout if it was OK, we reminded him of the long wait. We received the answer: 'Well, that can happen when it is busy.' Sorry, but if people are served earlier if they have arrived at least half an hour later, then there is really something wrong with the management. A mistake can also happen, but please be open about it. The food itself was very tasty, but due to the lack of time it was not tasty.

Good burgers, bad staff

Arrived at the place on Sunday, at 20:39. We've been told that the kitchen is already closed, even though the kitchen should close at 21:00. Not the first time it happens that the staff are not in the mood to take orders/work. Such a pity cause the food is quite good.

Amazing place for me (meat burgers) and my girlfriend (vegan burgers). Vegan is hard to find in some places and this is something different from other places. Highly recommended!

Just one woman for the restaurant, very over cooked burger and old bread. I asked for the cheese burger and is the burger with less cheese that I ever tried.

Good burgers and A Good collection of beers

This burger place has very tasty burgers and big choice of all kind of beers. If you don’t know much about beer they recommend a beer with every type of burger and they describe the tastes of all available beers in their menu. The place is cosy but isn’t that big and popular so best to reserve a table if you want to be sure you can eat (especially if you’re with more than 2). Staff is friendly and gives a good service.

We wait 2 hours for 3 hamburger. We miss a part of the movie. The Organization is so poor that they should open only for 10 people, they cannot manage more. The ginger ale was just water with ice. Never anymore

Price - quality correct, nice to have suggestions of beers accompanying the burger. very friendly staff (a bit understaffed so not all tables cleaned on time but certainly no blame to the staff) ideal to have dinner before movie at 20h in Kinepolis close by. Very popular so reservation advisable.

I can't believe the poor organisation of this place. One single girl for a full restaurant to wait on? She had to turn down numerous people who didn't have a reservation, even with tables clearing out later, and sitting there dirty because there simply wasn't time to clean them. Two more people here (one in the kitchen and one in the restaurant) would have doubled the revenue for that evening, and we had time to observe this, believe me! Because of the severely undermanned staff, we had to wait almost a full hour for our burgers. Our beers were empty for a while by then, and the poor girl just didn't have time to remedy this. Even worse, when the burger finally DID arrive, it was so overcooked it resembled the sole of my shoes: almost black and just as tough to chew. One of the worst burgers I ever had, including McDonalds! I have nothing but the greatest respect for the waitress, who didn't stand still for a single minute and was friendly to everyone. The cook, however, destroyed our burgers (we all agreed on that) and the organisation was a mess. It's not all bad, however, as the onion rings were delicious and the matching beers were well chosen. Not by them though, from what I saw in the menu... This is the third time I've had a bad experience here, so it's not as if I didn't give this a third chance. I won't be coming back again, and will recommend all my friends and family to give this a wide berth as well, sorry.
