We looked for a place to have lunch with 2 kids. Warm welcome and child friendly place. Good food & good service. A place to remember!

Had a terrific lunch here with friends and one of the best goat's cheese salads I've eaten. Everyone else enjoyed their meals too, including one of our party who had a number of dietary intolerances which were very easily and pleasantly dealt with by the server. Also a very decent glass of house red in comparison to ones tried elsewhere... More

My wife and I stopped here for coffee and tea this afternoon to get out of the rain. The drinks were good and so was the service. The view from the terrace was nothing special.

I so enjoyed my meal here two years ago and this time I had the opportunity to take my wife. We had the Belgian beef stew (don't know what the Belgian name is but I think the menu was bilingual). It was relatively quiet as it was the early evening. I think we were served by the proprietor. He was... More

We showed up at this restaurant without reservations on a Friday night around 7:30 p.m. The restaurant was not full and we were seated immediately. Only one waiter was working and the restaurant continued to fill up. There was a delay in getting menus and then taking orders. We both ordered from their "Specialties" menu. I had an appetizer of... Had a wonderful lunch of asparagus and salmon sandwich with fries. Great beer selection and service in a beautiful brasserie.

After checking in into our hotel Ibis, we crossed the plaza and had a late dinner at this brasserie. The atmosphere is pleasant when you walk in, and that is confirmed by the welcome of the friendly staff. We had a combo of a shrimp and cheese croquet as appetizer and then we had a quiche and the Bridge house... More

Pre booked the bridge brasserie before we arrived in Ghent for a birthday meal for five of us. On arrival we were seated in the nicer window seats at the front. Service was a bit chaotic at the start but soon calmed down later on. Drinks menu brought over, chosen and drinks brought out promptly. They spotted we needed an... More

The Bridge is a great stop for lunch between your visits to the major sites of Ghent. Not only can one see all the major sites from the restaurant itself, the food and service is also better than average, at good prices. We had a salmon bagel and croque monsieur, and beer. My wife was astonished at the amount of... More
