The food is fantastic. During our three day stay in Gent we ate there every day. Every meal was excellent. The meat was tender and on point, the wine was fantastic and the staff was as friendly, helpful and polite as it can get. Absolute...More

I usually avoid Italian food out of the national borders, but I was convinced by the reviews to give a chance to Otium. I didn’t get disappointed. The food was great, we had orecchiette with prawns and guance di manzo, house wine as well exceptional...More

A wonderful, cosy restaurant. We visited on a Sunday evening, during October's unlikely heatwave. We had reserved online (via TripAdviser) - which was massively convenient - and arrived early ("no problem!") and got a table outside. We had a spritz to start, followed by a...More

Became our go-to spot very quickly. Upon arrival we were plunged into the experience and everything was through Italian. Not that we really speak it but it was done with such inclusive warmth it really added to the whole experience. Already well-placed on the keys...More

Love this place. Homey, inviting and unpretentious. Frisella salad yummy. House wine and bread delicious. Had carbonara pasta too. I’ve been twice and it’s always good to see other Italians eating here too so you know it’s good.
