Decided to try out this restaurant for a meal during our short break in Belgium. This was a very pleasant experience with fantastic staff who were very patient and friendly while we decided what we wanted to eat from their menu. The food when it...arrived didn't disappoint us at all. The Taglatelle with shrimps I had, ravioli my son-in-law had, the lasagne and canalone my wife and daughter chose were excellent. The choice of wines and drinks were top class as well. Very good place for a meal and to savour Belgium hospitality.More
Our party of 7 recently had dinner at L'Huile sur le Feu, The staff were very friendly and helpful and a couple spoke some English which we appreciated. We ordered Antipasto for starters which provided a taste of a series topping on toast, cold meat...and grilled vegetables. For the main courses, our party selected Linguini with seafood, lasagna with prawns & ravioli with truffle sauce. All served quickly, nicely presented and hot. We accompanied the meal with white and red wine from Sicily. Very good food, service and location. RecommendedMore
Friendly staff who were able and wanting to talk English or Dutch.
We had the daily menu and pasta.
Both were very good. Though a little overpriced.
We loved the way they use their homemade Olive Oil and bread.
It can get very busy in...here and the staff might forget about your drinks.
Other than that a good place to spend your moneyMore
Nice place with nice food (although not extremely tasty, we all had to add salt, pepper and cheese to our dishes, even if we don't like salt that much...).
And the service was not very friendly, we all found them a bit arrogant.
Not sure...if I want to go back again...More
