Such a nice culinary Expérience!

The open kitchen, with the 2 chefs operating with great calm and serenity, while keeping a careful eye on the room (fully booked on this Friday evening) and leading the focused, professional and very friendly room staff, plunge you directly into a very cosy and pleasant setting. The unique menu and the wines (which I had chosen by the glass - including an excellent Brunello!), offer you a very fine tasting, with a presentation on the plate each time very neat and elegant. Every detail listed above, drives you smoothly & naturally into a soft, cosy and "out of time" atmosphere. Congratulations to the whole team and thank you very much.

Disappointing

Disappointing all round. Service was slow , staff unattentuve and quite flippant . Unfortunately food was also quite bland .

Super cool place that only has a fixed menu - no choice! But wow - best place I have eaten in last 2-3 months Leek soup - simple and flavorful Some celeriac/chestnut salad thing - some new and impressive tastes Pasta- it is hard to perfectly cook and season a simple pasta with rosemary - I could've eaten 10 plates of just this - wow Chicken - hard to make chicken memorable .... But these guys did - no idea how Dessert honestly was only OK Amazing red wine too Then the bill came...And another WOW - but in a good way - this place is super reasonable I'll recommend to anyone coming to liege!

Perfect food, service and price : highly recommended !

We were here for lunch. We arrived at 13.30h without a reservation. We had a nice table near the open kitchen (in the middle of the restaurant). They only serve one menu and you can choose for 2 courses (25eur), 3 courses (27eur) or 4 courses (30eur). We decided to eat 4 courses. There is no written menu but they explain the menu to you when they bring the amuse. The amuse was a pumpkin soup. The first course was vegetables with a special kind of cheese, the second course was orchietta pasta with a delicious mixture of mushrooms, tomatoes, meat, etc, the third course was beef with beetroot and the dessert was tiramisu with coffee ice cream. The people serving us and the chef in the kitchen were very nice. It is cosy to sit in this restaurant. For this quality of food 30eur is a good price. As we had one of the last tables even though we were very late, I think it is wise to make a reservation. I will certainly eat here again when I am in Liège !

Lovely food - fixed menu which changes frequently. Friendly staff. Nice location just behind the opera. We went there on recommendation of the B&B proprietor: great advise.

Good but not great

This restaurant was highly rated by several sites. The premises is quite comfortable and pleasant and the wait staff very helpful. We expected fine Italian cuisine. Although the food was good and artistically presented we don't believe a 5 star rating was justified.. Good value for this style establishment . Dessert was excellent. Note: set menu, suggest calling in advance.

Excellent true italian food

In this cosy nice restaurant, they only serve a 4-course meal. You can choose whether or not you take 2 courses, three or four. No pizza nor spaghetti here,only the true original Italian exquisite kitchen. Excellent food, great choice of wine and very friendly staff. Highly recommended

Great dinner with my Client

I went there during December with a client and colleagues. We were around 10-12 persons in total. We enjoyed the evening and the food was as usual : great ! That is definitely one of the best restaurant in Liege

Good food - extreme slow service

Was here for dinner with some select guests - as we were looking for a good place in walking distance from the Crown Plaza. Centrally located behind the Opera, the ambience is ok. The food is good although it is unique that it has a fixed menu - you can request a specific type of food or leave it to their choice to be served a surprise. The service is very very slow - you have a crowded place with only a couple of people rushing to real help and grabbing the attention of someone is a serious challenge. It is a real challenge to seek service if you are English speaking and more so if you are vegetarian and orders are often lost in translation . The saving grace is food is very good . Expect to go there to try some good food new -where you have all the time of the day and have honed your French

only one menu , with 4 plates , at euro 30 , but excellent food , only you have to reservate, and on 12.7.2016 , it was full , and the service very slow

This place has a fixed menu for the evening and so it may not be the best place if you are really picky about what you want or don't want to eat. But if you like good food and are open to discover new things it may actually be the place to go. 30 Euros for a 4-course menu is also reasonable as I had been to other places that charged more for less quality. As always, watch out for the price of the wine as this can easily get expensive.

Very enjoyable, good service good wine.

I was taken here with some colleagues while on a business trip and it was very good. There is a different set menu every night and I like that type of creativeness. All courses were excellent and the dessert was beautiful. Service was really fantastic despite it being busy, so I say well done! Really enjoyable.

Same good food but declined service

We went back again lately. Servers are kind and helpful as always. Dishes are fresh and tasty too as they are always the case. This time the dessert is well thought and very interesting in taste. Only thing is really bothering is the principle of 'synchronisation of service'. Normally this is a very clever way to serve efficiently and reduce the pressure of chef. But with only two servers for 15 tables it was just impossible. We waited 45mins after the 'mise en bouche'. The following dishes were served at time but the glass of wine ordered never arrived. One more server could be really helpful...
