Came here for a solo dinner on the last night of my business trip. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Food came very fast and was delicious! Menu has lots of choice and is provided in multiple languages.

I enjoyed the food in this restaurant and this was a strong plus. I had the escargot in mushroom sauce. Always a challenge to use the clamps but worth the effort - plenty of tasty creamy sauce. I had the moules Liegeois. This comes with bacon (pancetta style), and celery. Served with a portion of chips. I thought this was a lovely tasty dish. The down side was the service. It took 20 minutes to clear the bowl at the end of meal and it took around 40 minutes to get coffee and the bill. I also a chipped plate with course one. Very good food overall but a few negatives too.

We ate dinner here twice, as our nearby hotel had no dining facilities. The first time, an excellent "pave" of beef with frites- both cooked to our specification, and definitely shaped like a cobblestone, as the name suggests! The second time, a Saturday night, we only just got in as it was fully booked,(and full of local people- always a good sign!) one magret de canard and frites- excellent. One Liegoise meatballs- also excellent!. Very friendly and attentive staff and leisurely, but not slow service. It isn't the cheapest of places, but on a par with most of the restaurants in the neighbourhood. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

There is no menu on the outside to decide whether we would like to eat there but we were coaxed in by a charming man who said that, if we stayed, we could have our first drinks on the house. One of our party is vegetarian and there was very little choice. He had to have pasta with cheese sauce. Don't even bother if you are vegan. It took ages and ages to take our order, then another hour after that for the food to arrive. When we wanted another round of drinks we had to get up from the table to look for someone to serve us. No upselling from our free drink! The food was tasty and the price was reasonable, because of the free drinks, but the service was truly awful!

Tried this restaurant on a visit to Liege and was very disappointed. The waitress was the only unhelpful person we met in Liege. We ordered only one starter and three main courses. We waited over half an hour for the starter and then almost an hour for main dishes. There were very few other people in the place but we had to seek out the waitress to ask for the main meals. The fish was not at all appetising, with a bad sauce, the fresh vegetables did not arrive and the dauphinois potatoes burnt and so hot they could not be touched. The other main courses were not great quality. Service was poor and drinks had to be requested. No apology was made for the late arrival of food. When we said we didn’t enjoy the food it was questioned why we ate it and we had to say because we were very hungry and it was late. Spoilt an otherwise great visit to Liege.

Lovely place and kind waiters but you cannot wait more than an hour for a steak. The place wasn't even full when we arrived. And we asked for steaks. We had to eat everything in 10 min to avoid losing another train. Not recommended.

We know the place since at least 20 years under the name "Chez Crommen", and discovered it had changed ownership. The Food was not bad, but waiting was excessive: altogether it took more than 2 hours for a starter and main plate service. Service was courteous, but no bread offered. Asking for mayonnaise, we got it in plastic cones, despite insistance to obtain in a small cup. "That's the same thing" was the answer... "Brasserie" should correspond to a certain elegance and prompt service. The restaurant seems to be listed in "Le Petit Futé" guide for 2016 to 2018 years, a little excessive distinction. Remains a very convenient parking behind the restaurant very convenient to less mobile people.

6 persons, Young and senior, enjoyed spagetti bolognese, spagetti carbonara, spagetti salmon, baked salmon and a juicy medium-rare steak with oven baked potatos. Food well propotioned and well cooked and served in the nice open area at the back of the restaurant, but softdrinks in 20cl size are too small regarding a topprize at 2 euros = 10 euro per liter ! Take a fine Belgium beer instead.

Seriously? All food was served in broken plates. This is just unbelievable. First time I see such a attitude to clients.

Very spacious and comfortable seating with the benefit of free parking at the back. Very comprehensive meals menu and wine choice. Very, very, very generous portions. We took a starter and a main course and we struggled to finish. No place left for dessert! High quality food preparation well presented and impeccable friendly service.

We were on our way back home to the UK following a river cruise and our coach was full. We were staying the night at a hotel a few yards away but the hotel did not do evening meals so the coach company booked us into this restaurant for our evening meal. The back room was reserved just for us and they were expecting us at least an hour earlier than we arrived as our coach was delayed by traffic, however the staff soon arranged for our starter to be served and any drinks required. As I do not eat meat I asked about the menu as the coach company had organised a set meal to be served, the chef arranged for me to have shrimps in my starter salad instead of ham and it was a generous portion served to us all with lovely tasty salad ingredients and plenty of bread to go with it. The main course was a huge thick piece of chicken, skinless and boneless served with vegetables, potato croquets and gravy. My meal was 2 pieces of white fish served over a large portion of vegetables in a delicious sauce and potato croquets and a spring onion sauce to go with it. Everybody appeared to enjoy their meal and also the chocolate mousse and cream for dessert and we were served quickly and efficiently, just what we all needed after spending all day travelling from the Danube by coach and needing to get settled in our hotel for our last nights sleep before reaching the UK. As for myself and my partner, we both agreed that we got more food in that meal than we had eaten at our last evening meal on the ship we had been on, as the portions we were served on the ship had been tiny. We probably wont be visiting this area again soon but to anyone who requires a good meal who is looking for taste and quality presented by friendly staff, give this place a try.

Staff speaks almost no English, but it doesn't affect great food experience in any way. Totally recommend.

We were only the second couple in at lunchtime on a Thursday but the jambonneau we both ordered took about 40 minutes to arrive. However, they were definitely worth waiting for - copious and very tasty. We ordered them with chips which were served piping hot. The house red wine was perfectly adequate. The espressos to round off the meal were also good.

There wasn't an English menu so choosing what to eat wasn't easy. The service was okay but the waitress couldn't describe everything in English. House red wine was good. The steak was good, I asked medium but it was medium red. There was grilled corn, tomato, zucchini and aubergine. Half of the potatoes were raw but I got a new better portion when I mentioned it to the waitress. The Roquefort sauce was excellent. Still water is expensive but house wine cheap and food affordable. The whole dinner was 25 euros. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the atmosphere's friendly. It's quite big. It's situated near Liege main train station.

Food was nice and atmosphere was cozy. We got our food very quickly. The only minus was that later to be able to pay we really had to work on getting any attention and we were never asked if we want anything else to drink.
