Thanks to the waiter Noah for the pleasant time he gave us!! This kind of friendly, polite and good-humoured, even joyful, service is rare enough to be highlighted! The birthday surprise was just as adorable!! We had a great time as a family! Moreover, the pizzas were impeccable, a crispy crust and delicious toppings! The decor is modern, original and romantic (quai de la goffe), it is clean, well served and the prices remain democratic for a very good quality of service as well as choice of ingredients and flavors!!!

Eight days to decide to write an article about this evening, there are signs that are unmistakable... A Tuesday evening in the city, in a city that is not very lively as the pavement is so little beaten, after a drink (I'm lying, two...) At Pilori, we decide, Julien, Nicolas and I, to find a nice table so that we can eat restore and forget this gloomy weather which we have been blessed with for days. But where to go? On Tuesdays, it's never easy... We head, arm in arm, on a spree, towards rue de la Madeleine with a very specific idea: to eat in one of the oldest Italian restaurants in the City (1957) whose name I won't say, but you will quickly recognize it... Unfortunately, it's fully booked and despite the excessive efforts of the Maître d'hôtel, it's impossible to find us three chairs... Against bad luck we do our best and once back on the street, a 360° offers us two other tables, including Alla Grappa, also formerly an institution... we push the door, there is room, so much the better... A The sparkling young lady settles us in, immediately after an aperitif and on the menu! On the menu, the dishes in white are classics, in green are vegetarian and in red, the house specialties... I tell myself, therefore, that it would be better to stick to the reds... I suggest starting with "The large Osteria plate”… cold meats, cheeses and tapenade on Crostini, nothing to say, one way or the other… Now let's move on to the dishes... For me, rigatoni au gratin, ham on the bone, cream and Parmesan... For Julien, an eggplant escalope because Parmigiana doesn't have eggplant... Uuuh! I must have missed something there... and for Nicolas, tagliatelle with scampi, pancetta, zucchini and white wine... I will only tell you about my rigatoni... once the ramekin was at the table, I thought I was in a canteen, and again, it's not nice for canteens! In fact, it's more like those prepared industrial meals that we put in the oven a few minutes before serving... Julien's crestfallen face in front of his escalope confirms our disappointment... What can I say? It’s good but nothing more, I think that here we have to stop at the pizzas, and that’s it! And let's not talk about the theory of fluids... the Bardolino Classico certainly had flavors but no body. Only the establishment’s eponymous drink found favor with our taste buds. I don't know what to say, except that our expectations were not met, and yet, an establishment that I have known for a long time, with a storefront for decades... Very good experience at the restaurant located on rue de la Boucherie! The pizzas were well topped and the dough was really good. The service adapted to our needs: we were late for a show and were served very quickly. Also, as I am pregnant, the kitchen put all the spices and ingredients before cooking at my request. We had reserved a table for 6 people at 7 p.m. We arrive at the appointed time, the waitress looks in her notebook... the table reserved for us has been given to another group.
