*Food: Average *Price: Good *Service: Excellent *Decoration: Average *The Best: The waiters are very friendly *The Worst: This restaurant needs fewer options and more focus on its dishes. The food is ok but with the right cook (or more specialized dishes) they are ready to...take it to the next levelMore

Came here the other night and had a great meal. We tried the Liege meatballs with Belgian fries and also the lobster ravioli both of which were very tasty indeed, loved the rich sweet sauce that the meatballs came with, just right for dipping the...fries in, lovely. Overall we had great experience and would definitely return when next we are in Liege.More

Good to know the traditional dishes, here in Liegi with the owsome Opera view you can teste the most typical dishes of the area. Suggested by a firied of mine I choose the Belgian meet ball with onion, beans and dryed grape sosage; definitely not...so bad! Beer selection is also awesome, even with a typical glass per kind of beer... Cheers!!More

Called in and were lucky enough to get a table. The service was fairly friendly and when the food came it was very tasty. The price was very acceptable as the restaurant is just outside the city centre. You had a choice of sitting inside...or out side. Worth a visitMore

We shared a moules marinières as a starter and I had a lobster ravioli which was great. My partner was delighted to find rabbit on the menu, and this was excellent! Service was good.

This is wonderful spot to sit outside and watch the world go by. It's quite active with people coming and going. We ordered 2 Sangrias and our server also brought a nice selection of bar snacks. We ordered and waited, and waited, and waited. Do...not be in a hurry - enjoy the scene because after 45 minutes and again after almost an hour we asked again we asked about our food and on the latter request the server seemed like he was just then receiving our order. It was out in just a few minutes and was delicious. So, be aware it might take some time but know that it's all enjoyable and part of a lazy afternoon in an attractive setting.More

This place is close to city center and has exceptional service and good food. I have been here many times and everything is very good. Try the Liege meatballs.

What's wrong in Liege? A lot. Training personnel to explain that guests are spending quite some money to enjoy a good meal. If you then ask if you are allowed to move to another table (nothing ordered yet) because of the very hot heaters just...above you, they look at you like something is wrong with your brains. Food was the standard Liege fare. Look at the photos and you can decide whether it is worth the money.More

We enjoyed an excellent one-course meal here before going to the opera (as obviously many of the other diners were doing so too). The vol-au-vent were delicious, and the boulettes liegeoises (meatballs) are to be recommended. My vegetarian daughter was delighted by the choice of...meat-free dishes, and loved the rigatoni pritaniere. The pinot gris was excellent for the price, and the desserts being served around us all looked both copious and delicious. The service could not be faulted, despite the restaurant being packed. Our only criticism was the freezing wind that blew in each time new customers came in - so try to get a table well away from the door! Nonetheless definitely the place to eat at a reasonable price if you are going to the opera.More

Dropped in here for lunch, ordered Croque Monsieur and got........ a rock hard cheese and ham toastie with a bit of limp salad; felt very ripped off for 10 euros. Obviously the staff have never heard of Dijon mustard and bechamel sauce. Suspect a bit...of anti-British sniffiness particularly as the 1980s throwback Belgians seated alongside us were muttering about ‘les Anglaise’.More

With a choice of eating indoors or outside, we chose outdoors. Wanting to begin our first morning in Liege with a mimosa, we were informed they do not serve these, but we could have separate glasses of fresh-made orange juice and champagne. We did so...and made our own. The crepes we ordered were delicious and so was the cappuccino afterwards. the restaurant is conveniently located near the main stores, opera, and historic district.More

There's been an eatery here since the 17th century, and it's still very good. Efficient and friendly seating and a very attentive waiter. Great selection of foods often with a touch of Liège; good wine list, too. I had a really wonderfully intricate and surprisingly...light carpaccio to start; and served up quite beautifully, too. Already I was having a pleasant rosé Minervois with the requisite sparkling water. My main course was veal kidneys, the like of which I've seldom had. The sauce was exquisite and the kidneys themselves succulent. They came with the necessary accoutrements: a small glass of eau de vie, a piece of cambembert or some such, and some lovely apple syrup. After all that coffee sufficed for a dessert! Dining here was wonderful. One problem, though. There was that horrible obtrusive loudspeaker music in my ear. The food would have been even better without that noise!More

Efficient service, and good staple Belgian food. Very enjoyable on a warm summer's evening, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Liege who wants to experience the local specialities at a reasonable price in pleasant surroundings.
