There's been an eatery here since the 17th century, and it's still very good. Efficient and friendly seating and a very attentive waiter.
Great selection of foods often with a touch of Liège; good wine list, too.
I had a really wonderfully intricate and surprisingly...light carpaccio to start; and served up quite beautifully, too. Already I was having a pleasant rosé Minervois with the requisite sparkling water. My main course was veal kidneys, the like of which I've seldom had. The sauce was exquisite and the kidneys themselves succulent. They came with the necessary accoutrements: a small glass of eau de vie, a piece of cambembert or some such, and some lovely apple syrup.
After all that coffee sufficed for a dessert!
Dining here was wonderful.
One problem, though. There was that horrible obtrusive loudspeaker music in my ear. The food would have been even better without that noise!More
