BUT WHY ???? After many years of presence, having kept almost everything from the front and the room of the Chinese restaurant previously installed in these places? The door with the dragon handle, the fat Buddha, the stained glass windows, the vases... EVERYTHING IS THERE.
The Indian touch? Tables and chairs wrapped in pink... clearly not serious... and frankly, we wondered where we had ended up. Kitschy experience...
And then, quickly, the smells... Indian cuisine is not the cuisine of spices for nothing. And we see the people seated at the tables who have the banana... So we forget the Beijing decor a little and we relax.
The service is super attentive. Smiling, explaining the dishes, giving advice... frankly, nothing to say at this level, only the opposite.
The aperitif is accompanied by small dips which already set the mood with Indian flavors.
For the rest, the menu is quite simple, it is available à la carte or in the form of formulas and offers chicken, lamb and large scampi in 14 preparations (curry, madras, ginger, vindaloo, bunia, dopiaza, tikka masalah, dhansak, pallak, kashmiri, korma, biryani, passanda and kedahi)... ranging from sweet fragrant to spicy that you remember the next morning. The flavors are clear and marked, the variety will allow everyone to find something that suits them. The naans are very well made, and the accompaniments create, as always in Indian cuisine, the balance of the dish. For example, if you take vindaloo, the spiciest, don't forget to add a yogurt-based accompaniment which will extinguish the heat of the chili.
The bill is a little solid, especially since the contents of the plate are not gargantuan, but the moment is pleasant and the cooking very well done.
We recommend it and we will definitely return...

I found the bill abnormally high for the quantity received and know that we ate VEGGIE....If we add to that, the Chinese decoration with the dragon which dates from the previous owner and you have THE TOTAL.... .Are we in Bombay or Beijing?....In short, very mixed....A big thank you, however, to the kind waiter....Will I come back? Maybe yes, maybe no...
