This restaurant was very disappointing. The food was mediocre at best. We had reservations for 8...we arrived early and said we would be paying the bill. They advertised they accepted Visa when it came time to pay they said they could only accept cash their...machine wasn’t working. They could have told us this when we sat down. Most people dont carry large amounts of cash. We had to go look for an ATM we wont go back.More

What a disappointment: We booked here on the bases of the ratings, but were let down enormously. Booking got lost, but they got us seated eventually after some deliberation. The staff has no attention for you (apart for the owner who spent all his time...talking to a (his?) girlflriend and her son). Food was mediocre at best, not at all the level as described by other reviewers. We didn't even bother to get a dessert.More

We came across this restaurant by chance and what a great find. Service was good and the food was excellent and very reasonably priced.

The restaurant is not visible from the street. Don't be afraid to enter the long corridor and go down the steps: the place is hidden in an ancient cellar with a nice stone ceiling. Everything I had was excellent, including the home made tiramisu.

Came to Liege for the Grand Prix and the hotel recommended La Strada to us. Eventually found it (doorway slightly obscure) but SO glad we did! They were very friendly - English, French and Italian spoken - and the food was unbelievable.. and we're fussy!...Ended up going back there 3 nights in a row because it was such good value for money and the meals were very tasty indeed.. great Italian food, authentically cooked and a lovely atmosphere. Would definitely return again if in the area.More
