A fantastic gem of a pub off the beaten track with absolutely stunning views across the valley from the beer garden and conservatory. A marvellous selection of real ales kept in peak condition and the food is very good too and not over priced. The...More

I ate here with my grandson whilst attending a geocaching event. The food was good and reasonably priced. There is a good play area for children but it does have a lot of steps down to it. The staff were friendly and accommodating too. The...More

This is an unpretentious country pub. We had the lunchtime menu and the food was quickly prepared hot and tasty. It was reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and efficient. A nice change from the chain pubs.

A favourite place for a superb good value lunch with a great beer from Caphouse Brewery. Always a good welcome and the views are stunning.

First time we been there, average pup. We had 2 lunches for a tenner. 2 roasts, 1 beef and one pork. Both looked and tasted like reheats. There was plenty on the plates. Good selection of beers.

I would probably have gone 3.5 if that was an option so probably being a bit kind as my party all enjoyed it a lot more than I did. We were a big group on Christmas Eve, I thought service was probably a touch slow...More

We noticed the landlady was pre-disposed, but her team rallied round and kept all the balls in the air, fantastic service, good food, friendly...More
