We were suggested by a collegue to come here, but it was a bad choice. We tried a mixed plate of fish, but it was chewy and did not taste good. We had some wine leaves with rice, but no way comparable to the ones...we had eaten in other places. Expensive and did not allow us to pay with card.More

I liked this small place just outside the grand marché. The starter (salad) was very good and fresh and with these specific spices!! The main course were meatballs in a tomato sauce, very well flavoured. I would have liked some veggies there as well, but...there we none. What I would recommend them is to make it possible to pay by bank card. Now I had to go out to find a bancomat to get cash, a bit prehistorical (which does fit with the town😬)....More

We had a great meal in Les Portes D’Orient. All 4 of us ordered the 20 euro mezzé, which gets you 6 starters (a mix of hot and cold) and 2 skewers. But because we all chose the same meal, I think the staff just...brought us almost every dish on the menu. The table was covered in small dishes that we could all just dip into with the tasty flat breads. Then they brought us each a plate of hot starters; yummy pastries and awesome falafel. Then to finish we had a whole variety of meat and cheese skewers. It was the first night of the Dou Dou, the town was chaos and everywhere was packed. The restaurant was even running a food stall outside on the street. Yet the friendly staff still managed to serve us quickly and the food was all perfectly prepared. We will definitely go again.More

This is a small, cozy restaurant just off the Grand Place. There is a good range of Lebanese dishes and some set meals if you can’t choose, all reasonably priced. Good place for a relaxed meal out.

Whilst visiting Mon in December we came across this restaurant and so glad we did! The night we visited was busy but we managed to get a table. The waiters were so friendly and the restaurant had a great atmosphere. We had the set menu...and for €20 each were served a vast array of different dishes. The food was cooked fresh and full of flavour. The house wine was very reasonable and tasted great. I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant if you like middle eastern food. If we are ever back in Mons we will definitely be heading back here. We never had chance to try the baklava and other sweet treats in the window but they looked amazing!More

We were looking for Lebanese food and our hotel recommend this little place. What a great find, a little gem. Friendly service and advice on what to order. Food was excellent, lovely and fresh and plenty of it. The wine was good and reasonably priced...as was the food. Definitely worth a visit and I will definitely go back when I am next in the area.More

Excellent food and very good value. Very small room which could be challenging if full. It is a one man show for lunch, he does everything from greet, meet and cook. We enjoyed lunch on a Wednesday so returned the following Tuesday. Not like the...general fair available in the Grand Place which was definitely aimed at the general touristMore
