I pass in front of this place everyday and never thought the food could be so good! the menu is very basic, for starters there are different bruschettas and then pasta - all very very good though. lots of vegetarian options. the set up is very informal & old fashioned.

Ok service and ok food. We asked for cheese and they advised that we need to pay for the extra portion! In all italian resto they provide cheese for free!

Decent pasta restaurant by the monnaie in the center of Brussels. Serves only pasta priced 11-15 euro per portion. Reasonable quality but nothing to write home about. Average service.

I came here with my girlfriend triggered by the reviews on tripadvisor. They didn't have a menu so we had to stand and look at a poster on the wall. Staff was OK, the place does not encourage you to enter as the ambience is not taken care of. However we ate the best pasta ever, to compete with the... More

We had read the reviews on here and were looking forward to a great evening meal. The food was alright and so was the service but we felt a little uncomfortable during the evening as everyone in there seemed to all know each other and we were kind of ignored.

Four of us ate at this restaurant on our first night in Brussels. Close to the Grand Place and the Opera, it was full of regulars from the area-a sure sign a restaurant is good. We had appetizers (we got the mixed bruschetta for 4-excellent!), a pasta each, a lovely bottle of Montepulciano, and dessert for about $30 pp. we... More

We visited twice due to the proximity to the hotel. Many locals from nearby offices during lunch. It's a good selection for pasta lovers. We paid about 30 Euros for two persons (with starter and drinks) and we were full !

Located in a street on the side of La Monnaie, the restaurant does not look particularly attractive at first sight. However, once you're in, you run the risk to become addicted, like the numerous regular (very numerous and very regular !) customers visiting the place several times a week ! Some are coming for 29 years now (I am a... More

Simple, no frills restaurant. We wondered in after a night at opera and had a great plate of pasta with a glass of wine. This is not the place for elegant dining, but if you want a good honest plate of pasta y could do far worse!

Went here around 19 on Saturday evening. No reservation was required. The place is very brightly lit and looks more like a snackroom than a very good Italian. It's situated a bit outside of the city center so no big crowds. Like a previous reviewer, I had the rigatoni al dragoncello (which is with tarragon or estragon), see picture I... More
