I went to have dinner with a friend on a Saturday night whilst visiting Brussels. We had a Grupon deal so we had a pre-defined tasting menu. Food was good, but not amazing so I consider that it is extremely overpriced. Staff is amazing, very good service and every course was served as soon as we were finished with the previous one. Great atmosphere. Very posh though. We had a 4 course meal with a bottle of red wine and paid €128 for 2 people. Regular price would have been €220 (€180 food + €38 bottle of red wine, one of the more affordable options, although wine was delicious).

This restaurant proclaims itself "Voted best Greek restaurant in the world, outside Greece": one wonders by whom... the 4-course dinner offered by the "dining with the stars" action was honest, nothing more. Quite classic choice of starters but well executed, special mention for the grilled octopus. A 2nd starter (mushroom and chicory puff pastry) quite ordinary and very far from Greek cuisine, of which one wonders what it does in this menu if not "fill". Lamb fondant with spices, tasty but very fatty and very poorly presented, very classic dessert too. In summary, an unconvincing menu compared to what is offered à la carte. A nice wine list however, but only the owner will be able to advise you, and again...As for the service, far below what one would expect from a "gastronomic" restaurant: extreme slowness and nonchalance, four people in the room, two of whom do absolutely nothing, know neither the menu nor the wines. Only one server is attentive and professional. The glasses remain empty and not cleared, the boss does not delegate anything and is visibly overwhelmed, forgets the wine orders, does not offer coffee... In short, the promise of the website is very far from reality. The only positive point: a very nice atmosphere, comfortable space and well-chosen materials, warm light, very aesthetic.

Nice place with simple and sober decor but nice industrial style. Welcome with a smile but not very professional. We had a menu which started with very good appetizers. The rest was good but nothing more, very simple, in limited quantity... The service was slow, absolutely not following... no advice on wines and what can we say when we ordered a cappuccino! A quarter of an hour to receive a filter coffee with milk!!!!! the waiter didn't know what a cappuccino was!!!!! In short, very disappointed, especially when this restaurant was praised in an evening article!

Slow service, small portions, over priced

With so many restaurant choices in Brussels, there is no reason to go here. The food is fine, but nothing special. The service is terribly slow - 45 minutes between courses. The portions are incredibly small - the lamb main dish had only three small bite size pieces of lamb in it.

Execrable. A “fusion” restaurant that is more than Greek, of ordinary quality with poor service… for a price that is not entirely appropriate (100€/person). Extremely slow and approximate service (45 minutes of waiting to place the order and not even a glass of water). Bottle of wine for 70 euros, recommended and served at our table by the owner himself… presented already open: unheard of even in a village canteen. I was ashamed to have offered it to my guests, to avoid.

Big disappointment and we don't understand the quotation at all, unless these are very recently new operators in the hall and kitchen? * 3 people in the room: 2 who do nothing at all, see no work, answer nothing, follow up on nothing, ignore empty glasses, not take orders and not even a greeting * 1 of the 3 people in the room: 4th shift only: didn't know any wine on the menu, couldn't explain any wine and when we chose 2 bottles the answer was 'yes, but I don't know which one, I don't have it anywhere yet seen' and he pointed to the wines 'that he knew were there' that we should take. Ultimately, out of misery, we started searching on the wall with the wines at the back of the building. * Didn't know any aperitif, had to study each bottle individually at the open bar to find the right one * No professional management in the room, no one with knowledge or insight into the routine of a catering business * Very long wait (and when we arrived we were only the 3rd table) to order something * 3 slices of bread on a coffee saucer for 4 people * Having to repeatedly ask the same question (water, bread,…) * Didn't know the dishes on the menu * Service at the table: came without any explanation from the snack to the dishes: the young lady brought 'de la viande', when we asked what dish this was she said 'I don't know' and also not who this dish was for. * Not a single dish resembled what is on their website at all: the dishes were of mediocre quality, not beautifully prepared or well cared for and not particularly tasty either. * Serving wine: there was a lot of spillage (and not cleaned up) * He asked us to check our account ourselves because he 'wasn't sure whether everything had been entered correctly' Disappointed with the score 13.5/20 Gault Millau and will certainly not return

A Greece without sun or splendour

Excellent welcome at the entrance. Unfortunately, these are the only two pleasant minutes in this yet very aesthetic setting. Disappointing evening bordering on disrespect. We were served a mouthful, too hearty for its function - we would have preferred two flavors - and totally pass-through. We receive the entrances very quickly. Nice presentation, but nothing exceptional. Same goes for our dishes. Lamb and salmon. if can recognize the quality of the products, we remain much more puzzled about the flavors again very neutral. The wine was nice but no service was provided. Overall, no attention is paid to guests and the cuisine is not worth a visit.

Nice ambient but definitely overpriced. Small apero with 2-3 appetisers, aubergine as main course, dessert and a glass of wine 90euro. Service was slow, overall I would not recommend Better price/quality ratio somewhere else.

Incredible but really... really sad

It's not my habit but here it was too much: more than an hour before receiving the bottle of red wine ordered for the aperitif, the second arrived after the starters and main courses, we refused it, it was by elsewhere already open and moreover accounted for on the bill. The boss runs in all directions and does as he pleases, the waiter tries to limit the damage. We end up laughing about it, it's certainly a hidden camera... Incredible for such an establishment.

We went there yesterday. Everything was really excellent from the appetizer to the dessert. Very warm, professional and pleasant welcome, fine cuisine. The wine by the glass was very good. Good pace between dishes. We will come back

Horrible service - overpriced food.

Took the degustation menu. Only the pulp-dish was ok. The rest was not wort the money. Very boring and at low bistro-level. And the service was John Cleese like rude and uncharming and unprofessional. Unbelievable. Will never come back.

There was a time (about a decade ago), when NOTOS was the restaurant to go in Bruxelles if you wanted to be seen and also to have a good, alternative, modern cuisine. Notos used to be the precursor of unconventional sophisticated gastronomy. Less now.... dishes continue to be tasty, see good, but without the previous originality. The wine advise was inexistant and the service way too slow although the restaurant was not full. Still a higher than average quality of food.

Totally overpriced, food was ok but not really enough! We asked for the Menu degustation with the selection of wines but the waiter told us to take a bottle as he would not the time to serve us the wines. What a disappointment the whole experience...
