We have been to this restaurant before and enjoyed the fondue. I had the filet pur this time. It was extremely tough and not edible. My husband and son had brochette and were happy enough with their choice.

The beef steak was very hard. The staff is unpleasant and even arrogant. I wouldn't advise to attend.

Le Grillardin is located in Uccle, on a street full of shops and restaurants. The speciality of this restaurant is the meat, which is preferably and perfectly grilled. I've taken a thick skirt with shallots. The meat was perfect and very tender. The staff was...very friendly and gave good advices. The place must be refreshed a little bit but there is a nice and plaisant atmosphere. There is also a car parking at the restaurant which is appreciable in the quarter.More

We were here on a Saturday evening for dinner. From the beginning when we were greeted by the hostess all seemed well organised and friendly. The female waitress who took our order was rude and seemed annoyed, and not because we did not speak French...as two of us does. One of us ordered duck and the rest of us steaks. When we ordered she asked how we wanted the meet cooked. The duck was asked to be very well done. When it was served it was rare. When the waitress was asked, in a polite way to rectify this, she got angry and harshly took the plate away. We observed how the trainees were badly treated and ordered around left and right. The ambiance of the room is very authentic and nice but the atmosphere amongst the staff was horrible. Besides the duck the food was okay.More

We had skirt steak (onglet) and a beef brochette. Both were tasty and well cooked. Good place for steak and meat in general. Good value for money. The only problem is that the outside tables are very close to a main road.

I've known this place for more than 15 years! Should have written about it earlier! This is simply THE place to be for meat lovers. Steaks, brochettes, chicken, fowl etc. are prepared exactly to your wishes. Apart from the regular menu there are always nice...suggestions - check out the slates on the walls. Very friendly (but I think rather monolingual FR) staff, the chef and his wife. House wines vary by the season but always very nice. Even when crowded waiting times are acceptable. The portions are generous, in some cases the weight of the portion you'll get is stated so don't overestimate you appetite! The surroundings are cosy put not posh, parking possibility next to the restaurant but limited space & not easy to maneuver if you have a big car. Price/quality very much ok; it's a pity I live at about 40 clicks from Uccle, otherwise I' go more frequently.More

Have been going there many years as we used to live next door. The choice of meat is really good, but I've been disappointed more than once by the uneven cooking ( bleu in the middle, charcoal on the exterior ). Firewood flame cooking seems...like a nice idea but it needs to be executed more consistently. Their américain du chef never dissapoints my wife thoughMore

Sophie cooks your rib-eyes or any other kind of steak or meat on the open fire place in the middle of the restaurant! Take the bottle of Vin du Patron. You'll only pay what you had to drink (1/4, 1/2, 3/4 or 1/1 bottle). Prices...are democratic and the quality of the meat superior!!!More

This place has been recommended to me for its spare ribs (supposedly better than the renown Amadeo in the city center). Out of a group of 8 people, 5 of us took spare ribs and we were all disappointed by the bad quality of the...ribs: meat not fresh, difficult to get off the bones, not tasty (even usual consistence), small bones and little meat around it, and inconsistent over the different services we had (it's an all-you-can-eat dish). The 4th and last service, which felt like reheated, was even not worth finishing off. Furthermore, the side dish was reduced to its minimum with some kind of cabbage and the potatoes were absolutely nothing exceptional. We had way better ribs in Amadeo and "Le Guignol" (Uccle). The other dishes (steaks and fish) were apparently quite good. And the place & ambiance is nice for small groups.More

The Grillardin proposes a good selection of freshly grilled meat. The wine selection is also good. A great dinner in a great cosy atmosphere.
