Went there alone and felt welcomed. Open kitchen concept, staff made good recommendations. Amuse Bouche (cod croquette) was good, main was even better. Got the cod (or was it halibut) with mussels and shrimps. Love every bit of it. Price was reasonable for the ambient, food quality and portion. Seafood is fresh. Will defniitely be back.

We were lucky that we phoned an hour ahead for a reservation. We saw a few people turned away. But it's popular for a good reason — the food was outstanding. Even the bread and butter made us ooh and aah. I had the salmon (see photo). It was cooked to perfection and the portion was quite substantial. The accompanying... More

I went to Vismet with a colleague and had excellent dinner for a reasonable price (90 Euro for two including glasses of wine). A great dinner option in Brussels.

Big restaurant, centrally located. Allways fully booked with a lot of local people. Great food quality, fast and expert service. Nice wine menu at acceptable prices, french only

I felt as if I was a little underdressed for this place while I was there. In fact it's on the more expensive side when it comes to prices. I ordered a halibut (or some whitefish) and it was good but nothing extraordinary. The staffs were excellent and it's a good place for solo diners. I'd go back to try... More

If you are in Brussels and looking to get away from some of the ultra touristy stuff then this is the area for you. There were a few other restaurants next to it, but this Has fresh fish. Had the doversole. It comes on the bone which was a little odd for me. Good flavor though. The traditional croquettes were... More

The food were of good quality but my tartare was very underseasoned. Service was perfect, and the restaurant is very inviting. I think the lesson to learn is never to order meat in a fish restaurant.

Ate there early june and found the food good but not great the cod and tartare was cooked well but bland..especially the tartare. The service was good and the staff pleasant and maybe the number of covers affected the quality.

Stopped by here after a tour. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant. Staff was typical and only paid attention if you flagged them down. I had the shrimp croqettes and a salad as a dinner -- it was good, but not my favorite meal.

Feel like fish for dinner in Brussels? Then you should definitely go to Vismet. The whiting is truly scrumptious, with spinach and mousseline mashed potatoes. Same goes for the skate wing, delicious! We were seated on the terrace in front of the restaurant, a very nice place to sit. On our way to the bathroom inside we could not help... More
