Big restaurant, centrally located. Allways fully booked with a lot of local people. Great food quality, fast and expert service. Nice wine menu at acceptable prices, french only

I felt as if I was a little underdressed for this place while I was there. In fact it's on the more expensive side when it comes to prices. I ordered a halibut (or some whitefish) and it was good but nothing extraordinary. The staffs were excellent and it's a good place for solo diners. I'd go back to try... More

If you are in Brussels and looking to get away from some of the ultra touristy stuff then this is the area for you. There were a few other restaurants next to it, but this Has fresh fish. Had the doversole. It comes on the bone which was a little odd for me. Good flavor though. The traditional croquettes were... More

The food were of good quality but my tartare was very underseasoned. Service was perfect, and the restaurant is very inviting. I think the lesson to learn is never to order meat in a fish restaurant.

Ate there early june and found the food good but not great the cod and tartare was cooked well but bland..especially the tartare. The service was good and the staff pleasant and maybe the number of covers affected the quality.

Stopped by here after a tour. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant. Staff was typical and only paid attention if you flagged them down. I had the shrimp croqettes and a salad as a dinner -- it was good, but not my favorite meal.

Feel like fish for dinner in Brussels? Then you should definitely go to Vismet. The whiting is truly scrumptious, with spinach and mousseline mashed potatoes. Same goes for the skate wing, delicious! We were seated on the terrace in front of the restaurant, a very nice place to sit. On our way to the bathroom inside we could not help... More

Fantastic seafood; the Sole Meuniere is to die for. Great atmosphere with the open plan kitchen. Good attentive and friendly service. In all our favourite seafood restaurant in the St Catherine's area, which can be a bit touristy; this place isn't. Prices slightly above average but worth it. We have been a few times over the past couple of years,... More

Good restaurant close to the Sainte Catherine square in the Brussels city center. Sainte Catherine was before the city harbour, that's why there are so many fish restaurants around, and Vismet is one of the bests. Nice local, with wooden walls and nice lights, you can see the kitchen which is open from your table (but there is no smell).... More

Third time (3 days) was the charm for me to discover Vismet. Nice room, fairly busy, but the staff always has a discrete eye on the table to see when you are ready, would want something or are done. The croquette de cabillaud amuse-bouche is already delicious and the bread is also a nice surprise. Then I had a special... More
