With a group of Italians for work here. The staff led us to the underground part, gross plastic bottles of water on the tables and dirty place. Bad pesto pasta for comitives and uncooked chicken. Asking for a wine: they bring without even a possible...selection saying only a 35 euros - an alleged Primitivo .... super sweet and absolutely undrinkable. I know Italian wines very well and this was absolute fraud... they destroy the Italian reputation. They took advantage of a group milking money. ShamelessMore

Discovered this gem by accident! the best Sicilian food outside Sicily. Everything was perfect: the pasta alla Norma, the caponata, the fish fresh out of the water prepared in a light spicy sauce, the excellent canoli. The ambiance is funky and very appealing, the hostess...a lovely lady and her daughter, the chef, someone who respect her ingredients and works with them, not against them.More

The pasta was good but beware, they don’t list their prices and then charge you Eur 25 for a pasta al pistachio. I think this is not done and over the top. At least they should inform their customers about prices when they propose their...pasta. This is the kind of thing that could happen in an Italian restaurant 20 years ago but you don’t expect it anymore today.More

Positioned in a very nice corner of Brussels, this restaurant gave me the impression to be a real Italian house. All the details are carefully thought through, the food is amazing with some special features. People working there are very kind and attentive. Can't wait...to visit Maison Sensi again with my friends or colleagues. So far, that's the restaurant that has most character and elegance that I have seen in Belgium.More

We were hesitant at first, but so glad we went down the stairs and stayed. As per other reviews the owner/host was simply first class. We loved him and his enthusiasm for the restaurant. The food was gorgeous, the ravioli in particular felt like it...was straight from Sicily. If you want simple but tasty Italian food, in pleasant surroundings with a gentleman guiding you through the menu.....this is the place. Perfect!More

Sensi made me learn and understand the difference there is between italian and sicilian food. This may have been the most impressive culinary experience i had in years. From the momemt you pass the door, you enter a completely different and unexpected universe - heart...warming staff, a non standard setting and a quality of food that lets you requalify everything you’ve ever eaten in your life. Unexpectedly fantastic!More

The staff was absolutely kind, and you get a treatment comparable to what you would find in Sicily!...Plus: the location is absolutely charming!More

We were in the Netherlands & Belgium for 10 days & this tiny family run Sicilian restaurant was truly unique & amazing! The owner was so sweet & kind and went out of his way to ensure we were enjoying ourselves and taking our time...to savor everything. Try the pasta - This is what they mean by Al Dente perfectly cooked pasta. Best cannoli ever eaten. No menu-just went by his suggestions and what we thought we’d like...Bravo all around. You can’t replicate this place....More
