Stumbled over this cute place a while back and found it one of the nicest meals in ages. They don't have much on the menu and most things are cooked around potatoes, baked. Its a great small restaurant and very friendly and excellent service. I...More

This is a nice place, simple, not luxurious but with a interestimg offering of a typicalbelgian dish ( all type of potatos with different stuffings). The food is delicious, the service very kind, the price is very affordable ... And all together makes the gathering...More

This place is specialised in "bintje" (filled potatoes) and homard. It is quite original and romantic. You have a choice among 15 types of filled potatoes and the are all quite good. Really fantastic the desserts too (chocolate plate with three types of mousse and...More

Set in a typical Belgian house, I am not sure I would have ever entered if I was not going there with an intention. The déco is quite eclectic but the emphasize is definitely on blue! We were sitting on the terrace, which was cozy,...More

I am not someone who feels the need to complain at every little thing, so my desire to write this review this morning took me by surprise. My partner and I went to Bleu de Toi last night after weeks of waiting to try out...More

Good company is of the essence of a succesful evening. Well, this place surely spices-up a meal with a great ambience. The decor is very warm and fun (I especially love the royal blue tones contrasting with the brick walls). While I'm not a world...More

The restaurant has a lovely terrasse in the back (you should ask explicitly for it if you reserve a table). It is so calm and full of plants, you don't think that you are in the centre of Brussels. If it gets a bit cold,...More

The food is not the best in Brussels. The famous potatoes are not bad, but not very refined either. The service was a mess: we got a wrong pre course, they served the wine after we had finished the first course, we had to ask...More

Old, small, cosy patato restaurant, at the edge of old Brussel's charming center: really bleu de toi (mad about you). You can order something else than a filled patato, but Y would U? Creative, gorgous, romantic servings served by charming ladies

We went here to celebrate a friends birthday. Its a bit of a blink-and-miss-it place, so keep your eyes peeled. The downstairs, where we sat, was tiny but charming. No doubting the place has atmosphere! There is also a terrase upstairs which I didn't see....More

Bleu de Toi restaurant in the heart of Brussels, between Manneken Pis and the Musée des Beaux-Arts, was once a small, run down house now transformed by passionate owners into one of the most intimate, romantic, welcoming restaurants in the city. For fourteen years it has been celebrated in Brussels, for both its menu and décor. With exposed brick walls, flea market mirrors, smart, clean, modern décor and vibrant splashes of marine blue everywhere – the awnings, the paintings, even the bottled water – this is a place with pizzazz. Central to the menu are bintjes, a sort of rich baked potato that Bleu de Toi artfully stuffs in seventeen different ways. But pride of place must also go to the seven different preparations of half or whole Canadian lobster, flown in fresh daily. Or the superb salads, like the Scampi, with caramelized scampi and bacon with balsamic dressing, which can be had as starter or main. Or the ‘suggestions’ of two seasonal fish, two meats, a vegetarian selection, and seasonal starters. The monthly changing menu with featured themes offer the very best of the season, including asparagus, Easter lamb, and fresh oysters, among many others. And there are fourteen sensational desserts like authentic speculoos gingerbread ice cream. The international wine list features more than 100 bottles and favours the French.
