Very hard to have a table to this restaurant. It is in many guides. Come soon or book. They serve typical belgian food. Simple but very tasty. Try the boulettes cooked with beer with a nice draft balgian beer.

A cosy and very special decorated restaurant with nice and tasty food in affordable prices. Selection of beers was huge. The main restaurant is much better compared to the upstairs floor where it was also very hot.

Nice and cosy, original décor, the right place to go for a Sunday lunch after a visit at the flea market of Marolles. Food is excellent and most specialities are cooked using beer! Portions are way too generous and worth the price. Only negative point: despite the space and many tables, it's packed (reservation advisable) and service (although very kind)... More

..or at least the owner, Alain, is :) He is a little eccentric with his collection of bric-a-brac (think Belgian royalty; ironmongery hung from the walls). The food is very good and ranges from the traditional, simple to touristic fixed price menus. Pretty good all round.

Two friends and I decided to take a city break to Brussels end of Jan, and used the lonelyplanet guidebook to pick out places to visit and eat. Restobieres was in the book, and we're glad we visited. Good to taste traditional Belgian food, and the house beer "For Mi Diable" was nice too! Found that the restaurant was filled... More

Very nice interior, cozy and atmospheric. The food was delicious and service welcoming. The owner is a bit of an oddball. Entertains the guests by walking around in different hats :)

I came here with my daughter last Easter. We enjoyed this restaurant most during our 3 day visit. It is cosy, popular with locals and the food was very good indeed. The staff gave good advice about the beers and menu. I agree that you need to book!

First advice: book your table. Second advice: choose the menu in order to save money. The dishes are generous, the quality is good, nothing astonishing or unforgettable, but here you have the possibility to taste some typical and good Belgian food. The list of beers is amazing, ask the staff for some suggestions. Regarding the staff: they are really kind... More
