Kokob has a friendly-bustling atmosphere with spicy smells filling the room, and a fixed menu that makes everything easy: you pick only how many meat dishes you want (2, 3, or 4) and the sides are already decided. Vegetarian options are available. It was nice to experience another culture through food, though I discovered I'm not a huge fan of... More

We are from Ireland, a tour guide told us that this restaurant was amaxing so we went. The smell when you walk in is yummy and the atmosphere is bustling. The menu is somewhat confusing but a member of staff helped us...it's similar to tapas as in you share food. This was awkward for me as I'm a vegeterian but... More

Went there 2 times for special occasions and we were impressed by the service and by the food. Go there and be prepared to eat a lot. Liked the fact that the portions are small so for a higher number of people you can try many different types of food. Absolutely loved the ambience and the surroundings, very friendly and... More

The look and feel was good. The service was attentive and courteous. However, there was no synergy between the food and my palate. Inasmuch as the presentation was attractive, I wouldn't revisit as it's not my forte. Would be reluctant to recommend unless you're up for some adventure as I found it expensive for what I had.

A nice surprise in the center of Brussels! If you've never had Ethiopian, the waiters are great at orienting on which choices are the best, and at explaining how you should eat your food. The prices are competitive, but you pay for the quality and central location. Overall, I would recommend it! If you're used to a little spicy food,... More

Great food, authentic experience and good cozy atmosphere for couples or a great alternative business dinner.

This restaurant was suggested to me by my friends. Place is quite big and spacious, but it's better for you to book a table; at 8:30 most of tables were busy. Staff is gentle and nice, waitress helped me with choosing food and she also presented how to eat. In this restaurant you eat by your hands, not forks and... More

This is an Ethiopian oasis in Europe. The staff are typically Ethiopian warm and welcoming. The food is tasty - not quite authentic has been adapted to suit European taste. I have eaten here many time and visit whenever I am in Brussels and time allows. If you have not tried Ethiopian food - then you must. There is a... More

For my first experience trying Ethiopian food it was fantastic. The starter I had was like a veggie spring roll and it may have been my favourite part of the meal. For the main I had a chichen dish with a side of fried potatoes and Ethiopian cheese. It comes in different bowls but the waitress who was very nice... More

Having never eaten Ethiopian food before I was a little hesitant but the atmosphere and delicious food made it all worth it! We had the 2person tasting menu, but specified vegetarian only and the amount of food and range of flavours was incredible! Having starter, main, dessert and coffee all included in the price (€60 for two of us) was... More
