The way you eat here is pretty unique in town: it's Ethiopian tradition to eat using your hands, and it's what you're expected to do here. Staff is very helpful and friendly, and it's worth a visit. Book in advance!

It was my first time in an Ethiopian restaurant and I enjoyed it very much. We went for lunch on a Sunday so we didn't need to book in advance. In summer, they even have a little terrace to eat outside. We were four of us and each of us chose a different type of meat so we could share... More

We were spending one night in Brussels closed to the restaurant, and entered because there were no other restaurants opened but kebabs. We were really lucky as it was an amazing experience. We ordered a degustation menu for two, with legumes, vegetables, fish and meat... eaten with the hands and bread Nice staff

This is one of the best nights I have ever had! We had never had Ethiopian food before and just happened to walk past this restaurant while visiting Brussels, we popped in and it was full but since we were not hungry yet we booked a late table and went for a drink. when we got back, we sat down... It certainly seemed promising. Having been recommended by friends we were looking forward to the experience. The staff were rather bossy and insisting we choose certain dishes without really knowing what we were choosing. It was a mixture of very doughy pancake type bread with an assortment of meets in sauce. the lamb was tough as was the beef. I... More

Been here a couple of times now and KoKoB never disappoints me. Dining Ethiopian is very unique. The food is superb. The first time I ate here, my tastebuds could not place anything I was eating. Some dishes have 15 different herbs in them. 15! The staff is very friendly in explaining the dishes and customs that accompany them. The... More

I am very much used to Ethiopian cuisine, and while this is not the best place I have been to it is nonetheless very good and fairly priced. The chef and her team are Ethiopian and you'll taste their expertise at each bite. The restaurant is pretty busy, I would recommend making a reservation. Restaurant staff is nice though a... More

I have been here on the 21 May for a friend. We happeed to this place randomly, but we've been received warmly despite the large number of bookings they had. Is it worthy if you want to try a different kind of cuisine, eating with your hands and sharing a big plate. The food itself is just ok - not... More

Kokob is a ethiopian speciality restaurant. This was my first time here and I really liked the ambience and the food. Being a pure veggie I was a bit scared to go there but I did find ample veg options, and the food was tasty too. Ethiopian tea was a delight to have after the dinner. I would definitely go... More
