I have never had Ethiopian food before. While strolling through Brussels, this place smelled wonderful from the outside so we decided to go in. What a wonderful experience. The staff was super helpful and the food was very plentiful. I would recommend this restaurant highly!!!

Nice food but awful service. Waited two hours for main course. Had to keep asking for water, glasses to drink from, dessert order messed up. Staff grumpy, careless. Bill overpriced. Only reason to go is to try Ethiopian food if you've never had it before. Otherwise avoid.

We were wondering through Brussels, deciding on what to eat. The menu and ambiance of Kobob were reason enough for us to walk in and grab a bite. The service was authentic and we were serviced with great pride and enthusiasm. Also, the food was good and well flavored. The area where the restaurant is situated is also much nicer... More

We strongly recommend this amazing gem, the food was very very delicious, the experience was amazing, the entire concept was very entertaining, visiting Brussels without trying KoKob is definitely incomplete! Every bite tastes different, very fulfilling, and definitely worth it. The service was really exceptional, the staff was very nice, helpful and responsive! Don't miss this experience, go for it!

First time for me to try this cuisine. There comes plenty of food with the degustation menu (20€ per person). We unfortunately could not finish all of it. The staff is polite but slow and they forget to check the people if they need something.

Kokob has a friendly-bustling atmosphere with spicy smells filling the room, and a fixed menu that makes everything easy: you pick only how many meat dishes you want (2, 3, or 4) and the sides are already decided. Vegetarian options are available. It was nice to experience another culture through food, though I discovered I'm not a huge fan of... More

We are from Ireland, a tour guide told us that this restaurant was amaxing so we went. The smell when you walk in is yummy and the atmosphere is bustling. The menu is somewhat confusing but a member of staff helped us...it's similar to tapas as in you share food. This was awkward for me as I'm a vegeterian but... More

Went there 2 times for special occasions and we were impressed by the service and by the food. Go there and be prepared to eat a lot. Liked the fact that the portions are small so for a higher number of people you can try many different types of food. Absolutely loved the ambience and the surroundings, very friendly and... More

The look and feel was good. The service was attentive and courteous. However, there was no synergy between the food and my palate. Inasmuch as the presentation was attractive, I wouldn't revisit as it's not my forte. Would be reluctant to recommend unless you're up for some adventure as I found it expensive for what I had.
