Ethiopian restaurant based on the concept of sharing. Al the people eat from the same big plate at the centre of the table, pouring soft rolls of a thin "crepe" into different sauces and dishes based on meat, vegetables, and cheese. I liked the fresh cheese and the chicken meat, as well as the peas with curcuma. The dessert was... More

My first experience of Ethiopian food and it was a really interesting experience. Very tasty, good for veggies. I went in a big group which worked as we shared lots of small dishes (so long as you don't mind sharing food) - but you are recommended to eat with your hands using a kind of pancake with the various dishes.... -Delicious food with very nice table service -We tried menu of 20€/person. It was more than enough for 2 ppl -Location is in the centre you can go easily with bus and train. It's very close to grand place. If you take your own car you may need to go around and look for parking -Staff are very friendly and... More

We've been here twice now over the last six months and will perhaps make it a habit of going back much sooner than later. My wife's and my experience at Kobkob has been wonderful, from the drinks, to the food, to the service. They have a small but interesting wine list. I have nothing to complain about. So if you... We had never tried Ethiopian food before and were curious. In addition to the food being excellent and very different, the style of eating is very unusual too. I don't want to spoil the experience for those that have never tried it before. Do give it a try, you'll become a convert like us.

We dropped by shortly after opening for an early dinner. We we two adults and three children. The staff made us feel very welcome and explained the menu really clearly. They also proposed to reduce the spiciness of the dishes for the kids. The food was delicious and service excellent. We left just as the restaurant was filling up and... More

I went there with 7 other friends. One "only" wanted to order a cocktail and no food...well they forced us to order one meal per person. In general they make you feel uncomfortable if you don't get a new drink after you finished your glas...food was good but really, they were so unfriendly and obviously trying to make as much... The service is really bad here. First they require the minimum order, and at the end we cannot finish all the food. Secondly, they always distrub us and rush us to finish during the meal, so they can host more customers. But the food is good to be fair. And the Ethiopian staff who taught us the eating ritual is... Had a dinner in this nice restaurant pretty close to the city center. We were a group of friends. Actually my first experience of this kind of food. Honestly I quite liked it! Nice experience, new tastes. Give it a go If you're nearby!

I have never had Ethiopian food before. While strolling through Brussels, this place smelled wonderful from the outside so we decided to go in. What a wonderful experience. The staff was super helpful and the food was very plentiful. I would recommend this restaurant highly!!!
