The location is very nice and also the service. The waiter was kind and friendly. Food very basic as dishes présentation. We had a promotion discount but without the price is too expensive compared with food they serve.

If you’d like to pay a lot for a bunch of fat, this is the place for you need to visit. Sorry but is was not good at all (even the mussels) The dish I had on the photo was drained in a fat bad...tasting sauce. Thé pastei as it’s called wasn’t even crunchyMore

As a tourist Chez Leon embodied a mix of home, comfort, quality of service, pride and wholesome food. I went with my husband twice. First visit - Ordered Mussel platter - cheese and herbs. They were very rich but delicious. They arrive in a mussel...dish that’s been either baked or broiled on a shell. Beef stew - deep flavor and very hearty Waffle - best out of three other restaurants Frites - best of all frites we had. Second visit - We split one meal Steamed mussels - onion, celery and butter. The mussels come in maybe 1.5 - 2 qt size pot. The menu reads them as “casserole”. For my husband and I the portion was more than enough. However, I did not see many couples sharing one pot. Cheese croquettes- super yummy Frites - again, the best we had in Brussels. We loved the order of the staff as well as their friendliness. Of course the beer selection was divine!More

I ordered frites and fried squid, both terrible. The place was super noisy and the price too high for what I ate.

Local food in the heart of Brussels. Friendly staff who helped explain some of the menu items. Fun /cute decorations and a clear sense of history. Was crowded when we arrived but didn’t need to wait for a table. They also have their own beer.

We ordered moules and frites, it wasn't good. Also, the waiter, Yassine, was very rude. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.More

I used to live in brussels and went to Chez Leon on multiple occasions. It was never a great place when it comes to food but was right in the center and with good ambiance. Right now the food is pretty bad. We ordered mussels...and we got pots of some mini mussels the size of pea. Fries were not the usual thick nice ones bo a few thick ones and rest think ones Macdonald's style.More

Walked around for a long time to find somewhere to eat and eventually decided to eat at Leon! The mussels and chips were great and the service too. The restaurant has a lot of history which they are immensely proud of.
