Shady business that takes advantage of Americans. If you are a tourist stay away. If you are traveling to Brussels you know you don’t tip - the waitress are paid a living wage. Our server became agitated and incredibly rude when we didn’t add additional...money. They prey on tourists. Because of this I’m convinced He also double charged out credit card on purpose. STAY AWAY!More

Great traditional Morrocan food. A restaurant with a great atmosohere. The dishes are simply amazing. I highly recommend this place!

After staggering around the very busy Christmas market we needed somewhere to eat. Restaurants were very busy but this place squeezed us in, and what an unexpected treat! The lamb tagline was excellent (although arguably it should have come with some vegetables) and the scampi...couscous just as good. Recommended.More

We really enjoyed our meal here. We had the Lamb Tanjine and the Mixed Grill, both excellent. The servings are large -- in fact, we could have be happy splitting one between the two of us. Good service, nice atmosphere.

Right, this is serious. Couscous is my favourite food, and has made me the slightly overweight man I am today. I have eaten couscous in Morocco, England, France, Luxembourg and Belgium. For years. With the possible exception of a Tunisian restaurant in London which is...sadly no longer there, this is my all time favourite couscous restaurant. Basically because they don't mess with the traditional lamb recipe, and they insist on the best lamb and merguez sausages. The setting is lovely with lots of traditional Moroccan lanterns, the service is fast and attentive. Oh, and I'd be grateful if you didn't order the Baklava (a droolingly delicious desert of filo pastry, honey and almonds) because I'd like to be sure there is some left for me. Thank you. But if you choose to ignore this plea, I suggest that you pair this with the sliced orange with cinnamon and orange flower water, so you can sort of assuage your pastry eating guilt with fruit.More

This place was a real surprise in Brussels - fantastic ambience, Moroccan food and atmosphere. There are not millions of options for vegetarians but there are enough and they are delicious. Also the portions of big - i could not get through the veg platter...on my own so worth sharing!More

Well situated between Place St-Géry and Ste-Catherine, this moreocan restaurant is an excellent address. Tajine is cooked by the book, and the couscous very tasty. Service is absolutely cool and smiling and the ambiance very enjoyable with all those oriental lamps. Count with 40€ per...person.More

If you like food and are willing to brave the terror that is the restroom (yes, it is all authentic), GO! The food is so delicious!! The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, there's a (spoiler!) surprise belly dancer, great wine, tea service, I mean, it's...just delicious. We had the host of the restaurant recommend our apps, entrees, desserts, wine, beers, coffee/tea, and were not disappointed. It was a ton of food! Good food! And it was very reasonably priced.More

The Morrocan food is always delicious. A long time favourite in Brussels. The interior is lit with a myriad of traditional lamps in glass and copper encasing. Waiters speak Dutch which is rare in the capital of Belgium. Also very affordable.

We had a wonderful group lunch here! The service was excellent and the food delicious. Large portions so come hungry. Highly recommend! Plus the interior with the ceiling lanterns is magical.

I went back to one of my favourite restaurants I used to go to when I lived in Brussels 20 years ago... I would say that the food is still excellent and I would certainly recommend it for this, but it now looks a bit...dated so could use a refurbishment and it would then again get into the 5 star range in my opinionMore

By the time we got there it was not really busy but it got crowded very quickly, especially with big groups. The service is spotty - some of the staff are quick diligent, others just seem to float around the room. We ordered the grand...mezze as starter and were very happy with the flavours. We then ordered the vegetable tajine – we found it a bit bland but finished it nevertheless. The lowest point of our dinner was when the waiters came to move our table to the side to make room for a big group. They promptly started moving the table while apologizing but we were still holding our forks full with food. We will probably not return as we prefer peace and quiet.More

We enjoyed the food, especially the salad starters. But the bathroom let this restaurant down badly. There was a very bad smell immediately on opening the door, water over the floor and dark. Despite the good food, I wouldn't go back because of this. What...are the hygiene standards in the kitchen?More

The food is good but the padding is determined, methodical and trading on you not being prepared for a confrontation. I have just been there with a group. We got hit with a bill of 800, which I knew was wrong, by a broad margin....But. It was a birthday, the group was paying for the birthday boy, we didn't all know each other well, no one would have liked to be the one to start asking the other end of the table how many beers they had had. I looked our waiter in the eye and realised he knew that I knew - but that he had seen this play out before. Groups don't kick up. I came home and calculated the bill. The absolute max it should have been was 600. I feel as robbed as if a pickpocket took 20 euro out of my purse.More

This restaurant is wonderful, it is always on our to do list when we visit Brussels, the food is brilliant. I love the chicken pastilla - this is a bit odd to get your head round as it is a sweet/savoury dish - chicken in...a filo pie/case with icing sugar on it, try it, it is wonderful !!!!! My hubbie didn't get a look in for the starter, I just ordered the chicken pastilla immediately as we had had it previously and it sticks in the memory, even after 4/5 years since our last visit. The food portions are very generous, so its worth sharing a main, especially if you have pudding in mind. We have never got to pudding as we have always been too full. The red Morrocan wine was great too - we got through 2 bottles, its so nice to be able to try some wine from different countries. I cant wait for our next trip, Kasbah will be a definite, but remember to book, it gets busy !!!!More
