Nice relaxing ambiance with exposed brick high ceilings. Average service. The salmon appetizer was very good and nicely plated. The eggplant cannelloni with stuffed cheese was average to good. My partner had the sole which had too many bones and was a bit oily. Meh
Needed to wait a lot for food, for the bill. Also it was very pricey and got the impression that it was a scam. The waitress was rude and pretty much threw the bread on the table. I don’t recommend this place for this money...you should get 4 times better serviceMore

The food was quite good but we had to wait one hour and a half before being served. An entire table of 5 people left because they were no served after one hour waiting. The waitress told us that there was a problem in the...kitchen but now that I read the other reviews, it seems to me that they have the same Issue over and over again .More
The ambiance is very well thought off. The rough brick walls, high ceiling, open kitchen everything contributes to a relax yet elegant atmosphere. The food was delicious too. The salmon starter with wasabi was not to heavy on the stomach. The same applies to the...apple tartan dessert. Lovely combination of flavors in the dishes. Very good choice when in Bruxelles.More
Super disappointing. We booked for 8pm and arrived on time. No one came to the door to take us to the table. We had to walk to the till to ask about our reservation. They just pointed towards the bar. We waited for 30 minutes!!...We noticed there was only ONE waitress for the whole restaurant!! Eventually, the waitress took us to the table with no apology for the wait. Once seated, it then took 30 mins to be asked about drinks. The waitress came to the table either side of us and took their orders! We were shocked! She just ignored us completely. We decided to get up and leave - we don't think the waitress even noticed me left.More
I have tried many different restaurants in Brussels and there are many really good ones. I have been to Bonsoir Clara three times and everytime I enjoy very good food and great service. The people serving are very nice in a natural and sincere way....The service, the food, the environment and the price level make Bonsoir Clara to my favourite restaurant in Brussels.More
Was with a colleague. We had some good food. It is a beautiful place with special character. The restaurant's interior is stylish and warm. I had the lamb that was very tender as it should be. As a dessert I went for the moelleux. Always...a winner.More
The venue is very nice, with multicoloured decoration on the walls and a candlelit feel. The food was generally good (though not exceptional) and filling, although a bit pricey for what it was. We did not have to wait very long for it, but we...would have liked a bit more time to sip our drinks before the starters came. Classic choices in terms of food, quite meaty. Downsides: chairs not so comfy, strange music that was at times blasted out, then turned down (this happened a few times during the evening).More
Disappointing. Booked for 7.30 pm arrived on time and we were seated it then took 30 mins to be asked about drinks and the order food we ordered at 8pm the meals arrived at 9pm no apologies offered and couldn’t care less. Food okay but...after an hours wait should be better - as someone else said overpriced for what it is! Avoid better places to eat.More

Beautiful restaurant that serves great French cuisine. This actually is quite a big place, so very suitable for groups. The restaurant's interior is stylish and warm. Loved the high ceilings and the beautiful bar. The open kitchen is a way of showing the customers that...the food is prepared with care. I had a lovely evening here with a friend, who was also enamored with this place. I ordered the codfish which was great. A feast for my taste buds. Really liked the combination with the mashed sweet potatoes. Lovely! As a dessert I went for the crème brûlée. Always a winner. Highly recommended. Only flaw: the staff doesn't speak Dutch.More
Came here with a group so we had the pre-ordered set menu. Our group was large and lively and there was some confusion with the salads where the waiter called one the vegan option, another the vegetarian option and another the salad. We worked it...out it was just 3 salads but I then heard him raging about it to the waitress. The waitress then served us after that and she was excellent, attentive and friendly. Food was average - salad a giant bowl of unimaginative ingredients, I had the hake for main with some sludgy potato thing, and ice cream for dessert which was lovely. My colleagues enjoyed theirs. I was here as part of a large group for dinner and enjoyed. We had the set menu of fish or meat and I picked the meat. The starter of carpaccio was very good and the main of Rack of lamb excellent but the vegetable...lasagna did not really work but still enjoyed. The dessert of Nougat ice cream was not great and even more so when I saw my colleagues dark chocolate cake which they really enjoyed. The additional of water and wine was expensive so overall enjoyed but pricey so would not be rushing back.More
