Overpriced food. Horrible service. Waiter was very rude. The only positive about this place is the view on the marketplace. Never again!!!! Many nicer places nearby and cheaper also!!

I went to this place with 4 colleagues during lunch and we were disappointed. - service and waiting time: this was good. The waiter was nice and professional. - food: - Chicken salade (as the “plat du jour”): the taste was good, but very elementary...salad (tomatoes, green salad, rucola salad, cilantro, dressing). I would have no comment about this salad for 10 euro. 13,5 euro is too expensive. - Cold soup based on yoghourt and dill: Taste was ok if you take only a small quantity (would be good to serve this before a starter or a main dish, but thus a much smaller quantity). For a meal-soup, this was not very good. My colleagues could not finish half of it. - white bean burger with salad (without dressing) and basic potatoes: 17 euro for this meal is a lot. No sauce for the potatoes or dressing for the green salad made it a little dry and boring. - table: We were sitting outside, but with the exit of the cooker hood blowing under our chairs and table. It was already a hot day and this made it just want us to leave quickly. This problem occurs only at 2 tables, so if you can avoid these tables, there is no problem. So, maybe the dinner choices are better. Unfortunately, this lunch did not make me want to go back. I think they have to rethink their meals to make them more interesting. Prices are too expensive for these rather ‘boring’ tastes.More

We came for a brunch When you see what you can get for brunch, it looks huuuuge. A lot to eat, many things. But.... everything is so little! So disappointing ! Coffee was not so good. Fresh orange juice is not pressed but mixed. Expensive...for what we got (21€) Place is niceMore

As a solo traveller sometimes I find it difficult to sit somewhere by myself for a drink, but the place had a really good vibe, and I did enjoy my beer. (My table neighbour was truly enjoying his special of the day may I add)

I ate here on the 20th of March. I was travelling alone in Brussels and staying at Hotel Galia. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly! I would recommend here to visitors.

Chaff is a great bar I have visited in the past and I've always had a good time here and so on our latest holiday to this vibrant city we couldn't wait to revisit here and again we were not disappointed. This is an authentic...tavern,a narrow tall building set over two floors with an all wood interior with great decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options spread throughout this place,it really is one cool looking tavern and I feel really comfortable when ever I visit here. My twin brother Stephen and I were here on a Friday early evening and this place was busy with a great atmosphere, after a quick study of the beers on offer we both opted to have an IPA style beer from Brasserie De La Senne, these beers were served in tip top condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular tavern. I really enjoy the beers from Brasserie De La Senne,I consider them to be brewer's of the finest and most innovative beers being brewed at the moment in Belgium. This really is one cool place and it's not hard to fathom out how busy this place gets ,great beers, great location and superb tavern, what more could you ask for. We really enjoyed our beers in here and although we only stayed for the one beer before we moved on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Chaff is really easy to locate on Place Du Jeu De Balle were the most famous flea market is held namely Marche Aux Puces Des Marolles. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday,8.30am till Midnight. A great tavern and well worth checking out.More

It was just across the street from my hotel. Had a nice dinner here, quick service. The waitress for really nice. Inside, you go through a really small winding wooden staircase to the upper floor. I had a trout with a delicious sauce and basmati...rice. The trout was good, but not cooked all the way through, unfortunately. Had to leave a quarter of it. Would have liked to get a discount or something. Other than that, good food, great beer. Prices affordable based on Belgian standards.More

Living for some months adjacent to this loud Monday night event, I did not think it worthy as a food offering? Well, you know the saying, "Never judge a book by the cover?" I had the salmon...three quarters cooked (as per order and my preference)...with a crisp sesame skin, an 'al dente' sushi roll with a soya dipping sauce and a very light citrus infused predominantly rocket and micro-greens salad. Faultless....absolutely divine....the Chef has it right in all respects....just not quite enough for the patron which works in their favour? Really enjoyed it. Well done! ThisMore

Just the place to catch a moment's rest from browsing Place du Jeu de Ball market square outside. It's compact and was busy, but the wait staff were accommodating. Excellent coffee.

A good place for a stop with very nice burgers in front of a street market. Prices are a little high but usual in Brussels
