A nice brasserie with delicious mussels (the fries are a bit too big) a good selection of Belgian beers and efficient friendly service.

I enjoyed the solettes with fresh spinach and potato purée, my husband had the veal meatloaf served with linguine while others had hamburger and steak with fries. Everything was cooked as it should be and tasty.

The food is tasty and the plates are generous. The menu is not the fullest but offers nonetheless an ageable variety of dishes. The service is very good. Although, there were not many people at the time, which makes it difficult to judge.

Whether you choose the fish or venison or simply the Belgian classic steak tartare, the quality and freshness are consistent. I had the venison on my most recent visit and the meat was succulent, cooked to perfection with a delicious "sirop de Liege" sauce and braised endive, carrots and mashed potato in its skin.

This big restaurant and café is divided in two areas, a café in the front, where one can also eat, and a large courtyard-style restaurant with rattan chairs under a not too attractive looking glass roof. As only one guest was sitting there when I arrived, I chose to eat in the front room. That turned out not to be such a good idea because I could hear rather loud music coming from loudspeakers behind my back and the mixed conversations of different tables opposite. After I had studied the menu and made my order, the waiter suggested I change it for the suggestion of the day, which was grilled brill. I found that rather odd. The whole grilled brill was filleted in the kitchen after being shown at my table. The problem with filleting is that the fish is almost cold by the time you are ready to eat it. Not an altogether convincing dining experience, but I am willing to give this place another go somee other time.

Ten euros for the "plat du jour," and you can't go wrong. Today's was a good winter meal, stuffed cabbage, and you can plan ahead: they post two weeks' worth of the daily specials on their door. The place is filled with regular patrons, always a good sign.

I have been there many times and I always liked it. I would recommend the Tartare de bœuf à l'italienne, it's my favorite. The prices are reasonable and the staff is nice. The menu also offers a nice choice of belgian food. During Lunch time on week days they offer a "Plat du jour" for 10 euro. The place can be a bit noisy at times.

i liked the place, it was clean, the servers were really nice, the food was good and reasonable price. it was the nicest restaurant in the several block area around the Best Western country house. locals were eating there including a few older couples. i would go back for sure. almost went twice in 3 days.

If you like Moules Frites or Americain Préparé among other typical belgian food specialties, you may like Le parvis who serves those tradtional dishes according to belgian rules... Quality is very good, preparation is classical and service is friendly and always ready to help you. Dining room is full during week ends
