I visited here on my own for lunch and was so happy with my visit.
The waiters and waitresses were helpful and polite and the actual restaurant is very old fashioned but beautiful.
I had the traditional beef stew which was one of the best meals i had whilst in Belgium. The beef fell apart easily and the sauce was a mixture of sweet and rich flavour. The fries (everything is served with fries in Belgium!!!) were home cooked and went perfectly with the stew and the beef recommended was a great suggestion.
Thank you! Will definitely visit again!

I had a great chicken stew during a quick lunch. the dish was well cooked and tasty and served after 10 minutes (or even less) from the time of my order. The service was extremely polite, especially Ashraf, who was careful and attentive.
I will definitely go back!

New sous chef is really making a difference with a fresh Andean style. Food was served on time and with such attention on decoration! Viviana was our hostess, she explained the menu and each plate. Food was really great, we enjoyed the view of the Grand Place.

Nice Brasserie near Grand Place. Friendly service. Waiting time for the Entrecôte: 30 minutes. Leffe draft beer was out so they offered me a similar one.
Good presentation of the 350g Entrecôte which was a big thin piece of meat so it was more medium but I ordered medium rare.
I realized a pungent smell of the meat. I could not enjoy the steak because I had this smell in my nose.
The mediocre side salad was without dressing and the Belgian fries were average quality. I doubt that they are really homemade.
I am disappointed because I expected a higher quality of food.

Good vibes, atmosphere is lively, friendly staff, copious portions, and locally sourced ingredients for a taste of the classic Belgian dishes.
Had the mussles with white wine sauce. Very fresh and perfectly cooked! It came with the yummy golden crispy fries. The restaurant has variety choices of beers as well.

Food was average in my opinion. Not the worst, but also not great. I wouldn't recommend coming here, especially when you are in an area with so many good restaurants within a 10 minute walk.
Also, not recommended for a group meal. We were restricted to just 4 options, wine bottles were not left on the table, instead we had to wait for the waiter to come and refill.

No trip to Brussels would be complete without a trip to Chutney's.
I love the look of this place ,interior is good, great decor and furnishings and lots of seating options both inside and outside looking out onto the old town streets .
As we had just ate we were only here for a beer each ,we luckily managed to grab a table outside were we ordered a Duvel beer each ,these were served in tip top condition,we just kicked back, chilled out and watched the world rush by while we sipped our beers.
A big fan of Duvel beer ,it's a strong ale weighing in at 8.5%ABV ,it's an ale not to rush but to savour but being in such a great bar enjoying a quality brew why would you want to rush anything.
We really enjoyed our ale's sat outside here before we moved on and as on every previous visit to here we had a great time .
Chutney's is easy to locate along Rue Des Eperonniers ,a street an area teeming with cafés,pubs, bars and restaurants and some amazing architecture and a major tourist destination.
Opening hours are;
Monday to Sunday,open from midday.
Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

The restaurant was fairly quiet when we arrived and our order was taken quickly. Unfortunately our order was then overlooked as a party of 11 and a couple who came in after us were given their food before we got ours. When we pointed out we had been waiting 35 minutes the waiter did not come back to update our status and when questioned said it would be soon. We decided to pay for our drinks and leave. Customer service needs to be worked on!

Attracted by the Belgian dishes on the menu we had dinner at Chutney. Quite disappointed by the quality of the food, the carbonade flamand was tasteless. The staff was nice and the ambiance was okay but for the price (105 euros for main and beers for 3) you expect more …
Unfortunately will not recommend

My sister and I were in Belgium for a few nights and this was an impromptu dinner that I will (and cannot) forget! The food was phenomenal! We both got the Chef’s suggestion which included 3 main dishes for a very reasonable price. I loved the atmosphere (warm and cozy) and the service we received from Rachid was exceptional! I’ll definitely be going back here the next time I’m in Brussels!

We went twice since it is located in the hotel where my daughter and I stayed, the Warwick. It was very good for us that it had a restaurant downstairs, since it was January, very cold and tired from walking so much. The place is very well placed, typical Belgian food. People from outside constantly come in which gives a nice, happy atmosphere, since I think we, hotel guests, were the only ones. The staff was very friendly, especially the Spanish cashier María and Youssef, a waiter, who spoke some Spanish, so loving that until the second day he took us to a very well located table and not the ones they had given us when we arrived near the door, He remembered the mother and daughter from Uruguay and that made us feel at home. We ate the soup of the day which was mushrooms, 2 cheese and shrimp croquettes, a glass of Chardonnay wine and a Cristal beer, and a waffle with chocolate to share, all 69.90 euros. It didn't seem cheap but Brussels is an expensive city to eat in, and the convenience of not having to leave the hotel is worth it. The second time my daughter ordered a very complete poke with avocado, salmon, crevettes, rice, tomato, etc. and I had a typical Waterzooi dish, a kind of casserole with chicken, celery, potato, onion and cream, again with wine and beer , we spent less, 52.80 Euros. Everything delicious, with music, nice atmosphere, we loved it! I recommend it!

This was the first place we ate in Brussels and by far the worst, we both ordered burgers and were forced to have them medium as to not "dry out the meat". the menu didn't detail the toppings on the burger which meant my friend had to scrape of the mayo due to their egg allergy, alongside that the burger barely stayed together and we resorted to eating with out knife and fork. to top this disappointing experience of the fries (which you think would be good) were some of the worst I have ever eaten. would not recommend anyone this place especially considering the price being expensive but worse in quality than a fast food meal.

Just finished a late lunch with a friend and I have no complaints about the food! I ordered the calamari and the goat cheese salad, and my friend had a burger. Everything was delicious and our server Ashraf was not only nice, but had a great sense of humor. We did need to flag him down for extra napkins and a refill on water, but otherwise, he was attentive and quick to bring us what we needed (refills on wine, condiments for the burger, etc). If you're around Grand Place and need to eat, I would recommend coming here.

We enjoyed every meal at the Chutney’s restaurant at Warwick Brussels hotel throughout the week in the run up up to Christmas. Everyone was very attentive and the food was tasty. I’d like to say special “thank you” to Ashraf, who looked after us on our last day in Belgium

Visited Brussels for a weekend with some friends, we wanted to try some real belgian dishes. The menu looked good, but the experience was very mediocre. Service was decent, they were relatively fast but their friendliness left to be desired. They did not have many of the dishes they were supposed to and the carbonade Flamand was bland. For 18 euros you got two croquettes which feels just shy of a scam. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant.
